Los Gallitos Taqueria — Restaurant in Denver

To be honest, Very disappointed. The girl (Cashier) was pretty good and friendly but the food was terrible. Greasy tacos.. I ordered regular and it was well done. Not grilled green onion and grilled chile (jalapeño) even if I asked for those. The tripa was all fat and full of oil. I have been a patron of Los Gallitos in Alameda for almost 12 years and I love their tacos and all food but this location was really bad. I was not happy at all. I did not enjoy my food and I paid for fatty tripa tacos that I threw away to the garbage. I know you just opened this location but I think you should improve. Not coming back...

We went in for tortas and side or rice and beans and were disappointed. Our tortas were lacking in everything barley a pinch of lettuce and half a slice of tomato on the entire thing, no beans or cheese very lackluster and our rice tasted burnt. I told them no avocado on one of the tortas and they still put it in even though we have a serious avocado allergy. We decided to try this location because the one on Alameda has gone downhill but they obviously don't care about the quality of their food. Sad, we were hoping this one would be good. Tacos are 1 out of 5 stars hardly any meat and meat isn't good quality full of nerves and tendons.

Torta was awful 0 out of 5 stars beans tasted sour and the meat was not your everyday birria of shredded meat it was Chunks of hard meat seasoned and a giant piece of gristle so gross plus it was super soggy.

We regretted not getting Del Taco if that tells you anything.

Store looked nice and authentic the staff was younger joking around we felt like we were an inconvenience.
