We found this little gem today when looking for a small business to support, and a restaurant we hadn't tried before. I like Google map surfing 🌊 for new restaurants and found Ocho's. They've definitely earned their 5 star reviews. This is a small business so please show them some love!!
Food was delicious! I got the nachos. Piled so high my husband had to help. Everything was fresh, and well seasoned. Fresh guacamole, sour cream, tomatoes, jalapenos, pinto beans and an outstanding nacho cheese garnish crisp corn tortillas chips.
My husband got a bowl, which was also incredible. He left no trace and was also happy to have found a new Mexican restaurant that was close and offered so many options.
The music was authentic and added wonderful good vibes to the atmosphere. The sound level was appropriate, not too loud, an enjoyable level to enjoy a meal.
Can't wait to come back and try the red birria...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Ocho’s, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere, complemented by friendly and attentive staff.
The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the Birria tacos. These tacos are a culinary masterpiece, boasting tender, flavorful meat perfectly seasoned and slow-cooked to perfection. Each bite was a harmonious blend of spices, making it clear why this dish is a favorite among patrons.
Beyond the food, the service at Ocho’s is exceptional. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience, with prompt service and a genuine interest in customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, Ocho’s stands out not only for its delectable Birria tacos but also for its top-notch service. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, a visit to Ocho’s is highly...
Read moreI am not really sure why the reviews are as high as they are, or why the food pictures look nice compared to what I got.
Generally when I pay 5$ per taco, it's at a very nice modern Mexican restaurant with lots of toppings and fancy sauces. Instead, it was just tortillas with tiny scoops of greasy meat. Nothing else, no onions or cilantro, sauce or anything. Single corn tortilla rather than two which is standard for street tacos. I left still hungry and feeling robbed.
DTC is becoming plagued by overpriced and underwhelming restaurants. I rarely write reviews but I felt tricked going here. You will get much better at a food truck or even Torchies unfortunately.
Edit: Thank for pointing out there's a salsa bar, I didn't see when I looked or in photos. I upped the review by a star, let me know if you make improvements and i'll be back and happy to...
