I am sure we will start to see some 1star reviews pop up here after an unfortunately busy night this Memorial Day weekend, so I’m hoping to offset/ challenge those who go to write a poor review because of their experience this weekend to rethink before they post. Ros Siam is a new, family owned and operated, authentic Thai restaurant in the Jefferson Park neighborhood. I have gotten takeout a few times and have been blown away by some of the BEST curry in Denver. When a place is this good, word starts to get out. And then you have longer than expected wait times (look at US Thai any night of the week). I believe this is exactly what happened Sunday night, as my expected wait time was 1 hour and I ended up canceling my order after 2.5 hours and re-ordered the next night. I sat in the dining room with 15-20 others waiting over an hour for their food and watched the woman taking orders nearly fall apart. They were so backed up, they had people just walking out. It was a sad sight to see but also their first holiday weekend in the neighborhood. I am sure they went to the drawing board and have learned moving forward. It broke my heart to see people getting so angry with the woman because their precious takeout food was taking too long. SUPPORTING a small business/ restaurant means purchasing their goods/ services/ food through thick and thin. Not screaming in the face of a woman who is desperately trying to keep up with orders about how you’ve been waiting 2 hours. I encourage all those who see any reviews related to this night to please bypass them and give this place a try. It’s truly delicious and the owners are so...

I ordered takeout from this restaurant last night (May 2020). The food: 4.5 stars The service: 2 stars
I think with COVID they adopted a new online ordering system and it was an absolute nightmare. We ordered our dinner through the website at 6:30pm and the website said about 30 minutes, we received email confirmation and all. We walked over at 7 and there were 7 other people inside all waiting on their food, al orders were incredibly behind and there was no organization whatsoever. So finally the lady working, who was very courteous the whole time, checked my order and said it’ll be another 45 minutes. Luckily we lived near by, so we walked home, but others waited in their cars and I’m not sure what the delivery drivers did. I tried calling to check when our order would be ready but the line was busy, so I’m not even sure how else to order. We come back in about 45 minutes, we did not receive a call our food was ready or anything, so we had to guess and luckily we were correct. All in all the food took 2 hours to get ready which is insane. The food was good, portions were slightly small, but I’m not sure I’ll be rushing back until they figure out the online...
Read moreWe were excited to try this place after seeing the great reviews. The place itself is very cute, looks like a house converted into a restaurant with an outdoor patio area and private parking. We sat outside on the patio and ordered one appetizer and 3 main dishes- Thai calamari, Pad Thai with tofu + chicken (they forgot the chicken), Pad Siew with beef, and Pad Ga Tiem- Garlic pepper stir fry with pork.
The majority of the dishes were good, disappointed they forgot the chicken on the Pad Thai, but not a big deal. However the Pad Siew had an odd flavor and tasted as if they forgot to season properly, portion was tiny, noodles were all broken small pieces, and beef was chewy.
After we received our food, the server did not come back to check in on us. When someone finally came by again, we tried ordering dessert only to be told the kitchen was already closed. It would have been nice if we had been told that ahead of time.
All in all, it was just a mediocre experience. Servers were nice but only provided bare minimum service, and the one unpalatable dish was kind of a bummer. With all the Thai food options around, we probably won’t...
