Went into this location on Saturday 11/10/18 in the afternoon because we love this store. Went in for the promotion they were having which was buy an iPhone XR and receive a $300 gift card! Great deal right!?! We arrive and find out we have to actually make an appointment to get the phones. The earliest appointment is this coming Tuesday. Ok we can at least deal with that in order to get the promotion. We sign up for two phones. While in the store we notice they also have a lot of other deals. Including a 60 inch Samsung tv and sound bar for $549! We pick up two (we just moved into a new house so we need a little of everything). We also pickup a 58 inch Samsung tv for our mother-in-law as it’s a great deal as well. We had a few other odds and ends but we had over $2000 worth of merchandise (not including the phones which we will purchase Tuesday.) Needless to say nothing to sneeze at. We get in line and wait patiently. We then load the belt and ask the cashier as question. We wanted to know if we could get a credit (on Tuesday) for the merchandise we are buying that since we can’t get the phones and the $300 gift cards until then. She doesn’t know. Which is fine but goes and gets her supervisor. This is where it gets interesting. The supervisor comes over and is immediately snippy. She says “so what seems to be the problem here!” My spouse says “well There isn’t a problem we just want to know about this cell phone deal” and before we can finish the sentence she cuts us off and says “you get a $300 gift card! My spouse polity says “you didn’t let me finish”. “We want to know if we can get a credit on the merchandise we are buying today with the gift cards on Tuesday since we can’t get our cell phone until Tuesday. She snaps back saying “that don’t have anything to do with us that’s the cell phone people!” To which we reply that doesn’t make sense since the card is a gift card for Sams. She goes off on us! Yells loudly “I’m done with this!!l Throws her hands in the air violently while still yelling and saying we were “rude” to her which we weren’t. She leaves us and the cashier there dumbfounded on what to do next. I see pacing back and forth yelling and yelling at a someone at customer service. The cashier then says “I’m just going to have you talk to someone at customer service.” So unload everyone off of the belt into the cart along with over $2000 worth of merchandise and wait in another line long line at customer service. During this time the supervisor comes back over to use and this time she gets in my face still yelling and pointing her fingers in my face saying she talked to the phone people and they’re going to come explain this “since we can seem to get it through our heads” what she was saying. At this point I’d had enough! I told her I’m done talking with you.” You yourself said you were done” with us, and coped a major attitude, and I don’t appreciate anyone getting on my face. She then screams “FINE I’m done!!” And storms off. I then let met spouse handle the rest of this. I was so stressed out that I had to leave and wait in the car. I’ve never had a such a horrible customer service experience in my life! I’ve never had anyone be so rude and practically violent as she was..by getting in my face and pointing fingers. I still have no idea why she got so angry. I’m really reconsidering shopping at Sams as this was just so ridiculous! I’m hoping Sams can...
Read moreThis is actually a 1 star post that turned into a 5 star post because of 2 people. I came to get a pick up order and I believe ultimately my order was forgotten. Not a big deal because I pick up all the time and there has never been a time before this one where I had an issue. The people are amazing and mistakes happen. My challenge where a mistake SHOULD NOT HAPPEN is that I called customer service over 10 times and not one time did someone pick up. It just rang until the phone hung up. My calls were made over a 1 hour time span, I had my children in the car and did not want to get out on that particular day. There is no excuse for all my calls to go unanswered. When I called back after I given up on customer service I reached out and dialed for the bakery, at this point I just was hoping if someone would answer then they could transfer me and then customer service would finally pick up. A young man name Zion picked up the phone, I told him my frustrations and he asked for help to transfer me to customer service. Once again customer service did not pick up the phone. Then I called back again dialed for bakery and this time I asked to speak to a manager. Luckily for me a manager Shane answered the phone. I explained to him the situation. He brought my sons out a few cookies and checked on my order. My order was delivered shortly afterwards. He took time out of his schedule to check up on us, hear my concerns once again so I felt heard. I wanted to acknowledge his quality care and service to me and my family. This post is so long because this is not the first time I have had an incident where I have tried to call the front desk and no one answer. The excuse of "being busy" can happen every once in a while maybe, but when the excuse is just that and not a result of anything else then its unacceptable. Thank you to Shane and Zion for turning this moment around. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because mistakes happen, but this is pure neglect of job...
Read moreI had a rough experience in here last night, decided to get a membership for the first time in about 7 years, as there was a 50% off promotion. Right off the bat, I was not too thrilled to find out you have to install a 78MB app on your phone vs. carrying a membership card...strike one. Within a few minutes of browsing, I found they carried Simplisafe products, I have one of their systems in my house. They carried the outdoor cameras for $139, an attractive price vs. the "BB" people. So I grabbed one of the cardboard stand-up thingys that had the barcode etc. to purchase at checkout.
Then 10 minutes later, the PA system comes on and says "it's now 7:55PM, the store closes in 5 minutes..." Huh? Not 9PM or even 8:30? I thought COVID hours were long gone (strike two). So I obviously hustled to the checkout, the cashier had her radio taken by a coworker and had to yell for a customer service person to open the "cage" to get the camera. Five minutes later, she brings it over, cashier scans....$89.99. I am about to pay and stop in my tracks, then I spin the box with the product in it around and whoops...it's the (wrong) indoor camera! Tell the cashier to cancel the transaction. She yells again, back to the cage...out of stock. I was told to check their website! I got home (still daylight out) to my computer and checked...unavailable online too. (strikes three and four). Why have the "cards" in the display, implying they are in the store and ready to buy, when the whole company doesn't have them anywhere?
Not feeling warm and fuzzy at all right now about my $23.99 membership. YMMV. Oh and the "BB" people have the outdoor cameras in stock, for more...
