I had dinner with my husband and kiddo here and it was probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had at an Applebee's, ever.. We were seated right away but waited over an hour for our food to be served. They did bring my kiddos dinner a lot sooner than ours so that was a relief. Our server was beyond wonderful but she was very overwhelmed and attentive as much as she could be. We didn't have a single refill on our drinks and my daughter asked for water instead of chocolate milk, and they never brought the water. This was not our servers fault as the manager had promised to bring it when he came to notify me my steak had been over cooked. They brought out my husband's meal, which he said was great. I waited another 40 minutes before the server brought my meal. I was not asked to cut into it, but when I had the steak was literally so raw it wasn't edible.. I asked the server to have them bring another, as this one was not medium rare. She gladly returned it to the kitchen, but when she returned, I had the same steak on my plate, but it was in the same state almost. It looked as if it was thrown in the microwave, but yet it was still VERY pink on inside? The manager came to our table to ask me about it and I told him I wanted another one cooked over again, he agreed and another 30 minutes passed. By this time my family was done eating, I still had only my 2 sides, and no refill.. When my wonderful server came back, she informed me "we've been having a lot of issues with this today. The cook is new. Don't feel bad about sending it back, I literally had to send a steak back 3 times earlier today. The manager himself is cooking your meal. Do you want me to have them box it to go?" I let her know we were not upset with her, and told her yes since my family was done eating. Here we are, 2 hours later, and no edible steak. Finally she brought my steak in a closed box and stood at the table while I checked it. No way they would give me the SAME steak right? DEAD WRONG. This was the same measly rare steak I had cut totally in HALF, cooked for a 3rd time! Wild! Okay so I just declined the food at this point... You would think it would be a free dinner right? WRONG AGAIN. They only subtracted my meal from the dinner... Was so disappointed in this experience and even though I know not all locations are this way, it makes me want to never eat at this chain again.. Again, our server was incredible. Maybe they should look at promoting the ones who ACTUALLY understand when the food is inedible... On the bright side my Mt. Dew was goodđ¤ˇđźââď¸ can't say much for...
   Read moreRude and passive aggressive staff. We barely come here ever, but the quality is inconsistent at best. The hostess greeted us with âwow, I donât even know you guys but you two look like troubleâ. We laughed when she said it but afterwards I went to the restroom to make sure my hair didnât look messed up after the walk we had before we went there. We arrived just over 3 hours before closing. I donât think we did anything wrong. We saw a couple we recognized and said hi, since we donât often see them. I guess this made the hostess mad, she stopped helping us at this point and we had to go ask her again to take us to our seat. The hostess took our drink orders but all she did was go get me a water and âpass the ticketâ on to the waitress. They were gone talking a while but then when the waitress got to the table she had to ask us what we ordered again. Was served our two margaritas in martini glasses and given the shakers to top our drinks off and my husband was saying to me that this was a little weird. I agree it didnât look like the pictures, maybe they were just short staffed or busy with other things to go get us some clean margarita glasses. Anyways this was brought up later by the waitress in a rude comment after asking us about quality âgood, we had our BEST bartender working tonightâ. Really?? Overall not a good experience because of the rude customer service, maybe have someone whoâs working with customers pretend like they know the essentials of hospitality service.    Read moreLast night we were super busy so we decided to order online and it was really cold so I chose the pick up inside option so the staff could stay inside where its warm when we get there the host sends us to the bar the bartender was messing with the trash ungloved she tied off the bag then went over gave another customer a to go box with out even washing her hands then printed off our order and hands it to me I took it not wanting to cause a seen then she told us she was getting our food she walked back there instead of turning left to wash her hands she turn right went straight to the back we waited around for ten mins before she came out to give us our bags i took it not wanting to cause a seen walked away found a waiter asked for the manager told her I wanted a refund and why she gave us one I even gave the highest tip I could online to make up for not having time to eat in and that's gross if this goes on in front of the customers its hard telling what goes on behind in the back we won't ever be eating there again
