Sweet T & Greens — Restaurant in Derry Township

My family and I were on vacation from NY in Hershey and was looking for something to eat. When we saw that there was soul food around, we had to go and visit. After eating their food, we all were glad that we made the stop to Sweet T & Greens. The food was delicious and the service was great! When traveling with younger kids, it's always hard to find places that they will enjoy the meal. So for us, that definitely says a lot. I'm only able to select a few dishes that we recommend, so I wanted to share that their mac-n-cheese with pulled pork was on point! The chicken tenders were enjoyed by the kids, and their candied yams are so delicious. You also have to try their Sweet T. You can't find tea like this everywhere. We were already talking about visiting them again whenever...

I was just introduced to Sweet T & Greens today. It is a stand inside the Fresh Market in Hershey. Fresh Market is a much smaller version of the famous Reading Terminal Market in Philly. I decided to go with an old standard: smoked brisket with the Peach Bourbon BBQ sauce accompanied by collard greens and the mac and cheese. YUMMY! The meat was fork tender, good flavor with a nice peppery rub. The sauce was just the right blend of tangy and sweet. Very generous portions and the collard greens are some of the best I've had! I know they have received awards for their macaroni and cheese, and I can see why. Very rich and cheesy without being overly thick. I look forward to trying other items on their menu!! Highly...

Where do I begin...anyone that knows me...knows my love for greens. Hands down easily one of the best I've ever had! Smoked Salmon-to die for... Potato salad with smoked eggs, yep smoked eggs The sweet potatoes has the perfect sweetness to them. Super sad they are not open every single day. Get there before they run out because they are the spot to try. Owner is super awesome and extremely friendly...you have any questions they definitely will answer them for ya. Side note...as a Pescatarian I love this place. Yes the greens have meat in them but not alot so I do not get sick! Go here you won't be sorry... I'll be back soon... Ps I'm looking for that...
