McDonald's — Restaurant in Detroit

Being that I live local and this is the closest McDonald's during my daily routine I've actually been to this spot many times over the past years. This particular location is without a doubt the worst run McDonald's in the entire franchise. It typically takes between 35 and 45 minutes to get your food at the drive-thru, the staff is continuously preoccupied with phone calls and joking around in the back, and I can't remember them ever getting my order correct.I honestly am very surprised that the corporate office hasnt come in and shut this place down. They shouldn't be allowed to call themselves fast-food. It is an absolute joke and known by the people who live here as being a dumpster fire on a sesame seed bun.

Update Nov 19, 2021, 9:43pm:. SMH Friends from outta town insisting on Mc D's... Sitting in drive thru now 21mins and haven't even moved 1 car length yet.. 10:17pm placed order... 10:27pn paid at window.. 10:38 got food at window.. Incorrect order, cold fries, no straws and lots of extra attitude. WORST MCDONALDS IN THE COUNTRY! HEY CORPORATE OFFICE - either send this place some compitent help to clean up their act or shut this place down!

I recently shared this critique of this place with some friends and they told me they thought I I was probably exaggerating and that it couldn't really be that bad. So we all loaded in the car and came to this location just to see what kind of an experience we would have.

PLEASE! It's the only restaurant I know where you need to pack a lunch for yourself before you get in line. The only reason we saw it through to the end was to show just how rediculous and inept this place has become.

Me and my crew got done working a hard day and it was my turn to buy. They wanted McDs Evidently, being cold and rude as possible is a requirement to work here. They got the order screwed up. Typical They took forever.. Typical They were rude Typical Cold fries/no salt Typical And now they have a full-time crew of panhandlers that come up to your car as you wait in line and ask for money, food, a ride, clothing and get this, the final guy demanded drugs and then blocked the driveway with his backpack and bike. The employees laughed and did NOTHING!

GHEEZE, I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN FOR ANY REASON. THE WORST McDonalds...

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only Went in for a happy meal for little Sophia who’s 3yrs old (little Sophia not the chicken nuggets).

I came out & to my horror witness an evil tow truck driver devil of a man hooking my shiny top of the range Matt pink Prius to his tow hook fingey mabobby,

As you may understand I was extremely unhappy with this as I’d only been in there for 8 minutes (according to my receipt) when the permitted time is allegedly 30 minutes

I tried to explain this to him but he said I must have picked the receipt up from the floor and that the manager of the said McDonald’s had phoned them and reported my car being there for over an hour,

With this information in mind I stormed bk in the McDonald’s to confront the manager Only to be told that he hadn’t Phoned the tow company, I went bk to the carpark to have a word with the tow truck driver, only to see he had driven away with my shiny new top of the range Matt pink Prius which also had my top of the range iPhone 4s, half ounce of lemon cookie dawg haze, & little Sophia,

I went back in the McDonald’s demanded to speak to the manager,

I explained the situation and asked for a replacement happy meal because by this time the sugar free cola had gone cold,

To my horror he refused!!!! STAY AWAY from this McDonald’s the fizzy drinks don’t stay warm for long,

On the flip side the child minding charges are exceptional $480 to get little Sophia back it’s been nearly 8 months now so as soon as the Christmas holidays are over I’ll go pick the vehicle and little Sophia up,
