Park Bar — Restaurant in Detroit

Horrible service! We stopped by here tonight looking to get some food and drinks before an event. They had a sign outside saying "now serving hot food" and they weren't that busy (everywhere else was a 2 hour wait or at max capacity). We accidentally went in the wrong door where the kitchen is and asked the cook where we could order some food. She gave us a menu and told us to go next door to order and it would be ready in 5 minutes. So we went in the correct door and we sat at an empty table right away (like I said, not that busy). We started looking at the menu and the table next to us said they weren't serving food. There were no servers around so we asked an employee at the bar and she said "we aren't serving food right now because we're too busy". You're too busy to serve food? The cook didn't seem too busy. I think the staff was lazy and didn't want to do their job. They lost our business tonight and we'll be sure to avoid it...

This is the second time we've used the Park Bar as a place to host a pre-game party. The bartenders were quick, the place was clean, and it was very easy to get ~100 people into and out of in a short period of time. We had a blast, and we'll continue to return! Great spot to have a few beers/cocktails before heading over Comerica for a Tiger game. Great spot to have a few beers/cocktails before heading over Comerica for a Tiger game.
