H&M — Local services in Detroit

I shop at H & M often, and live in Detroit near this location, even though I usually shop at the Fairlane location because it is a larger store with a bigger selection. I was doing some last minute Christmas shopping today, and when I entered the store, there was a gorgeous sweater on the mannequin, and I immediately wanted that sweater, however I could not find it anywhere. I consulted the associate at the cash wrap, and he told me it must be the last one, and that he would have to ask the manager. The manager came and told me that she could not sell the sweater on the mannequin, and tried to show me some other sweaters. I was not interested in any other sweaters, and I didn’t understand how she couldn’t have just let me buy that sweater, and replace it with one that they actually had in stock Needless to say, if I wasn’t buying Christmas gifts, that I had already selected, I would not have purchased anything. My wife has always been a big fan of this H&M store location. But I never really saw the hype, it wasn’t until yesterday. When we were on one of our shopaholic sprees. My wife was trying to find a specific hoodie. I was looking for clothes to match a few pair of new sneakers , that I’ve gotten recently. I love that Tacarra saw that we needed help and immediately ask to assist. Just when we thought about leaving. She assure us , that what we were looking for was actually in the store. She showed us to different departments and level of the store and even tried on clothes we thought we couldn’t fit. Yesterday I got lucky because I literally found everything I was looking for and then some. I will be back soon. I love shopping...

I looooove this location. Bright lights, glass doors, security, multiple registers it’s just AMAZING. I mean elevators, clean sections, neatly folded and hung up clothing. Plus Very stylish employees and they’re polite, helpful, patient etc. I love this store!!!!!!Super cute stroll and downtown shopping, I gotta stop at h&m and grab things for the whole family. Baby clothes could be more versatile but that’s h&m. Plain.
