First, and most importantly they served me spoiled coleslaw. I spit it out, and couldn't eat much more after that. I brought it to the ladies attention, she said nothing then walked away. Also, we weren't given utensils, when I asked she couldn't hear me and rudely said "what?" This issue could be resolved by not having music blast so loud. I've been to night clubs before and it was louder in this joint. The whole experience at this place induced an extreme amount of anxiety and I nearly had a panic attack. They patted us down at the door. I've never had that done to me at a restaurant. Then the security told me I couldn't get a table, that I had to sit at the bar. I don't drink, but I agreed to it. I ordered the catfish fillets. It was $19 and came with fries and coleslaw. The fries were amazing. The catfish was ok but cooked way too long. And like I said the coleslaw was spoiled. After I finished eating, I wanted to leave and nobody was helping me cash out on my tab. I started getting to the point of freaking out, so I just failed down that same lady again. She slammed my bill down harder than normal so I don't think she cared much for me. They have auto gratuity so I only tipped a couple more dollars. I have to give a shout out to the dude who took my order, he was very kind. Just wish he wasn't neglectful. I moved to Detroit 3 weeks ago and this is by far the worst experience I've had out here. Definitely will NOT be returning.

Decided to come and pregame before our concert. Place was semi busy. Waited 15 minutes before we were greeted. The couples on each side of us were clearly already frustrated with the service (or lack of service) the waitress "Ana" said "hey guys, 2 waters?" And attempted to walk away. I informed her I would like a double vodka and soda and an order of tater tots. Waited 15 minutes for my wife's water. Then five minutes later the tots came. Then I received my first drink 20 minutes after ordering. Then when she brought my first drink I ordered another. 15 minutes after that I received my second drink. Then gave her my card to pay as we were nearing the 45 minute mark. 10 minutes later she brought the check. $40 for two double tito's ?? That is unacceptable. Our server was more focused on the table of 8 behind us rather than the several two tops she ignored. The food runner was bringing food out and auctioning it off, and seemed to be guessing where it was going. Us and everyone around us was offered food that was not ours. I don't understand how a double tito's cost only $17.00 at the Fillmore but $20.00 here? This place is horrible and I will tell everyone I know to go to the Fillmore and pregame instead of going here. Complete waste of time.

Had the pub burger and fries. Burger was bland, soggy bottom bun and was a mashup of conflicting, pretentious ingredients that didn't taste well together. This includes some nearly flavorless 'homemade' pickles, raw cucumber dipped in Italian dressing would have more zing. Meat also had that slight funky aftertaste indicative to old stock that is close to being relegated to the trash, but not quite spoiled enough to make someone ill. Fries were slightly under-cooked, bland and unoriginal. Overall pretty meh and disappointing, especially given the price point of $14. If you want a burger, give this place a pass and go across the way to the Broderick Grille. Hopefully their pizzas are much better. Update after trying the pizza. Ordered the small meat pizza. Good even baked crust, thin hand tossed variety. Toppings were generous, very strong garlic aroma and taste in the sauce. Everything seemed fresh and tasty. Would recommend their pizza.

Pros: the food was really good.

Cons: Pretty much everything else.

We reserved a table for brunch for today, because the brunch menu looked great. The first sign of trouble was on arrival. We'd booked a standard table because my wife is in a wheelchair. The standard tables were on an elevated platform with no ramp. The high top tables were in the flat portion. Completely ADA non-compliant.

So, I helped my wife up the steps from her wheelchair and into her seat, almost tripping and falling with her because a big chunk of the step just broke off while I was doing this. We get seated, and find out from the waitress after ordering drinks that, "We're not serving brunch today. We're all wiped out from St. Patrick's Day yesterday." It was literally the reason we came, and they were just not serving an advertised menu. When I asked if I could get an item on the brunch menu that shared ingredients with regular menu items, the waitress said, "No, none of the food for brunch is set out," even though I could find all of the ingredients in other items on the menu. We'd already ordered about $50 worth of drinks, so we bowed to the inevitable and chose from our limited options.

The food was delicious. There was no disagreement there, but the service was scattershot. And then, just to top it off, we got charged credit card processing fees. That was not listed anywhere on the website or menu. It was never spoken by waitstaff. It's not that it cost a lot, but it's the principle of it. We spent nearly $140, and after all we'd dealt with, we got charged an unwritten fee too.

Whoever manages this place lacks common sense and ethics. All of the above comes down to poor management. You don't just come in and decide, "We're not doing this thing we advertised," and not notify customers before ordering. You don't have your restaurant set up so it makes disabled people feel unwelcome. And you don't charge fees for using credit cards without notifying people that's your policy.

two stars: one for our amazing server and the other for the breakfast pizza. Other than that it wasn’t great. I went for the first time with 5 of my girlfriends on their “it’s lit Sunday brunch”. When we entered there was a young lady at the door who asked if we had reservations to which I replied “yes”. She then asked for my I.D and I started to explain to her that the reservation was not under my name but my friends, (thinking she wanted to confirm the reservation). Her reply was full of annoyance “I just need your I.D”. Alright…so not off to the best start but moving on. Next up, I walk into no less than 5 security guards standing near the hostess station. 2 of the security guards were holding metal detectors and requested to look thru my purse. I turned to my friend, who made the reservation, with wide eyes…like what in the world are we getting into here!? I’ve been searched before but not on a Sunday brunch lol. We get to the hostess stand and more attitude. Nothing terribly obnoxious…but no smiles, short/curt answers, raised eyebrows, etc. like we were interrupting their social time. If it was just me I would Of walked out but it wasn’t my call… so onward we all continued. We were seated and our server was absolutely fantastic, she was extremely sweet, and attentive. The breakfast pizza was very good! The music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk…my friend next to me had to speak directly into my ear. Which was a real shame because the music selection was great! Overall, I doubt I’ll be back. It’s hard to rationalize returning to a place that 1. from the get invades your privacy under the assumption that there will be some sort of violence, 2. the welcoming crew treats you like a pest 3. doesn’t allow for conversation. I don’t know how the other days of the week go but lit sunday was not a...

Went in on a Saturday night before a night out at Fox Theater. We walked into the building and the hostess let us know the wait was going to be about 20 minutes, perfect! Not a problem at all on a Saturday night! We went to sit in there sitting area and the seats had spilled food on them.. again, not a problem. We’re pretty easy going people, I asked the hostess if I could have a napkin to wipe it up to which she took it upon herself to take care of it and walked over and wiped the food onto the floor…. This probably should have been red flag number 1. We waited our 20 minutes and we’re called and taken to our seats which were upstairs.. Perfect. Wasn’t crowded up there and we could hear our friends and actually have a conversation. Our waitress came up took our drink orders and food order at the same time because we were all ready and knew they were busy. While waiting for our food I look over towards the wall and there’s a bug. NOT THINKING, I used my napkin and killed it.. again pretty easy going people and this should have been red flag number 2. Fast forward to when our food comes out. I look up from my first bite and the wall is CRAWLING with roaches. We immediately stood up and walked down stairs and asked to speak to the manager. The manager said “they spray twice a week and it is what it is. They’re fighting a losing battle and they can’t get rid of them”. He offered us a GIFT CARD to come back. Why on gods green earth would we want to do that?! We kindly declined and just asked him to take care of our bill as we will not be finishing our meal. We weren’t looking to make a scene and we didn’t. However I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worse enemy. 0/5 stars for me, but unfortunately I...
