Pros: the food was really good.
Cons: Pretty much everything else.
We reserved a table for brunch for today, because the brunch menu looked great. The first sign of trouble was on arrival. We'd booked a standard table because my wife is in a wheelchair. The standard tables were on an elevated platform with no ramp. The high top tables were in the flat portion. Completely ADA non-compliant.
So, I helped my wife up the steps from her wheelchair and into her seat, almost tripping and falling with her because a big chunk of the step just broke off while I was doing this. We get seated, and find out from the waitress after ordering drinks that, "We're not serving brunch today. We're all wiped out from St. Patrick's Day yesterday." It was literally the reason we came, and they were just not serving an advertised menu. When I asked if I could get an item on the brunch menu that shared ingredients with regular menu items, the waitress said, "No, none of the food for brunch is set out," even though I could find all of the ingredients in other items on the menu. We'd already ordered about $50 worth of drinks, so we bowed to the inevitable and chose from our limited options.
The food was delicious. There was no disagreement there, but the service was scattershot. And then, just to top it off, we got charged credit card processing fees. That was not listed anywhere on the website or menu. It was never spoken by waitstaff. It's not that it cost a lot, but it's the principle of it. We spent nearly $140, and after all we'd dealt with, we got charged an unwritten fee too.
Whoever manages this place lacks common sense and ethics. All of the above comes down to poor management. You don't just come in and decide, "We're not doing this thing we advertised," and not notify customers before ordering. You don't have your restaurant set up so it makes disabled people feel unwelcome. And you don't charge fees for using credit cards without notifying people that's your policy.

Read moretwo stars: one for our amazing server and the other for the breakfast pizza. Other than that it wasn’t great. I went for the first time with 5 of my girlfriends on their “it’s lit Sunday brunch”. When we entered there was a young lady at the door who asked if we had reservations to which I replied “yes”. She then asked for my I.D and I started to explain to her that the reservation was not under my name but my friends, (thinking she wanted to confirm the reservation). Her reply was full of annoyance “I just need your I.D”. Alright…so not off to the best start but moving on. Next up, I walk into no less than 5 security guards standing near the hostess station. 2 of the security guards were holding metal detectors and requested to look thru my purse. I turned to my friend, who made the reservation, with wide eyes…like what in the world are we getting into here!? I’ve been searched before but not on a Sunday brunch lol. We get to the hostess stand and more attitude. Nothing terribly obnoxious…but no smiles, short/curt answers, raised eyebrows, etc. like we were interrupting their social time. If it was just me I would Of walked out but it wasn’t my call… so onward we all continued. We were seated and our server was absolutely fantastic, she was extremely sweet, and attentive. The breakfast pizza was very good! The music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk…my friend next to me had to speak directly into my ear. Which was a real shame because the music selection was great! Overall, I doubt I’ll be back. It’s hard to rationalize returning to a place that 1. from the get invades your privacy under the assumption that there will be some sort of violence, 2. the welcoming crew treats you like a pest 3. doesn’t allow for conversation. I don’t know how the other days of the week go but lit sunday was not a...
Read moreWent in on a Saturday night before a night out at Fox Theater. We walked into the building and the hostess let us know the wait was going to be about 20 minutes, perfect! Not a problem at all on a Saturday night! We went to sit in there sitting area and the seats had spilled food on them.. again, not a problem. We’re pretty easy going people, I asked the hostess if I could have a napkin to wipe it up to which she took it upon herself to take care of it and walked over and wiped the food onto the floor…. This probably should have been red flag number 1. We waited our 20 minutes and we’re called and taken to our seats which were upstairs.. Perfect. Wasn’t crowded up there and we could hear our friends and actually have a conversation. Our waitress came up took our drink orders and food order at the same time because we were all ready and knew they were busy. While waiting for our food I look over towards the wall and there’s a bug. NOT THINKING, I used my napkin and killed it.. again pretty easy going people and this should have been red flag number 2. Fast forward to when our food comes out. I look up from my first bite and the wall is CRAWLING with roaches. We immediately stood up and walked down stairs and asked to speak to the manager. The manager said “they spray twice a week and it is what it is. They’re fighting a losing battle and they can’t get rid of them”. He offered us a GIFT CARD to come back. Why on gods green earth would we want to do that?! We kindly declined and just asked him to take care of our bill as we will not be finishing our meal. We weren’t looking to make a scene and we didn’t. However I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worse enemy. 0/5 stars for me, but unfortunately I...
