I truly believe this place could be an amazing diamond in the rough in the Eastern Market area but staffing and who you put in charge is important to the longevity of a business. First I have to shout out this AMAZING WOMAN WHO CLEANED THE SPACE FOR US. She was so kind and even helped me straighten up my decorations. I can not remember her name but THANK YOU 😊

It all went down hill when a man who I assume is the manager or something asked us about moving some furniture that we had already previous got direction on where to put it. He can and asked us about it because it was blocking his office which is understandable. It was his remark afterward that threw me completely off. When I said, “Oh, I didn’t know we were blocking your office”. “He said, you didn’t ask either” in a completely snarky and disrespectful tone.

Customer service is truly that, A SERVICE! I had no problem with moving the furniture to another location, however had he asked instead of immediately being rude he would have known that we got previous directions prior to his arrival.

I can not deal with being treated disrespectfully especially when money I am a customer or consumer. Please consider these things when you are dealing...

There was a “free before 12 with RSVP” message all over the flyer. Once we got to the Shadow Gallery at 11pm, we noticed that there was no one in the bar upstairs, or down… most of the people were leaving. Yet, they still required us to stand in line which you could tell was to either create the illusion that there was a large interest in the party or to wait us out so that regardless of our RSVP we would have to pay.

Once we made it in, we found that we would have to pay an additional fee to go upstairs. At this point, I was ready to go. We went to the bar and got a drink, one with Hennessy and another with well liquor. Together, I paid $45 for both drinks… which were so small that I finished mine in under one minute waiting for my Uber to pick me up.

I would NEVER recommend this establishment to anyone. I was so excited to support, especially it being Black owned. I’m not sure if this was the experience due to the draft weekend but regardless.. it was a terrible waste of...

Horrible service I waited 20 min to be seated for my booth.I had 10 free entry so how the hell I get a 3 seater booth with a coffee table after paying for vip.after being seated I was informed that the server would be with us shortly, only to not show up. had to get my bottle from the bar where they were happy to serve me over table girl.real vibe right. After bottle arrived 30 minutes later server comes.ask me if she knows who even purchased the booth.she’s communicating with a participant of the party booth rather than the host of that party.missed all her lil ends that night.overall service wasn’t what I expected from promotions at all.highly...
