I did not feel welcome here. I have lived in and traveled to many places with Pizza Ranches before and I like the food, but this was the worst service of any location I've been to. I currently don't live near one, but was visiting Dickinson, and so I was actually excited about getting to eat at a Pizza Ranch again. I arrived and told the young cashier that I would be having the buffet, but needed to have a special request pizza made due to an allergy. Usually the cashiers even ask if you have any special requests anyway and then they give you a table number if you do. Tonight, the cashier seemed unsure he could even fulfill my simple request and went to get another worker. She too, acted like this was unusual and then asked if I was taking it home. I said no, but that I would eat most of it there anyway if waste was a concern. She eventually, though reluctantly, said she would do it and told me my total. I informed her I had a Ranch Rewards account and I knew I had a $5 credit. She asked for my phone number and saw the credit, but said I couldn't redeem it without the actual card which I did not have on me. I could have shown my ID or verified any information on the account. At that point, I decided not to dine there. The girl seemed almost happy about it. My reward, which took spending $100 to earn, will likely now expire before I can get back to...
Read moreThe arcade side is nice and has a lot of games and things to purchase with tickets. The food side however was severely lacking. Firstly, when we walked in there was no one there at the front desk and so we stood there for a while really confused and eventually went and sat and started getting food. There was one employee sitting (taking a break I’m assuming) who looked right at us as we came in but didn’t say a peep as we looked around for help and then started on our own eventually. I think we made the mistake of going too early in the dinner time round (a little before 5) so the food was definitely sitting around a long time and it was super gross looking and totally fried (pizza crust rock hard). I went to grab some sour cream for the taco pizza and it was an entire month expired. Finally, when we were trying to figure out how to get drinks about 15-20 minutes into being there someone came to the desk. After we ate and played some games and went to leave we noticed many more employees around and new pizzas put on rotation. So again, I think if we got there about 30-60 minutes later maybe it would have been a...
Read moreIt has been quite awhile since I have dined at a pizza buffet, and this one is fantastic! Wide variety of pizzas available on the buffet, which was kept well stocked with no waiting. The thin crust pepperoni and bacon was my favorite. The crust flavor of the pizzas here is great. There is also a separate buffet with traditional foods like fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, etc. Everything was delicious and hot. They also have a separate dessert and ice cream bar. I was solo and the cost was about $17, which is a great value. The staff was very polite and courteous, and give the impression that they really want you to be there and enjoy your meal. And if you have kids, or just enjoy arcade games as my wife and I do, there is an arcade attached to this restaurant! Nothing but good things to say about this place and I will visit again before I have to leave next week. In addition, they also apparently offer a Sunday morning buffet with traditional breakfast foods, which I plan to check out as well. Highly...
