**Update Feb 2025 this store is still not good, the manager invited me back he made my drink, i come again and they still want to make MY drink the way they THEY WANT! Supervisor Ellie was very combative with me and refused to remake my drink the way I requested. It's truly a shame that sb has employees in a managerial role that could care less about customer satisfaction. I've been to this location countless times it's actually my (now use to be) 2nd fav location as a backup to when my regular barista gal isn't at my fav one. That I tip very well and would have today if my drink was made as requested, which i was excited because i gave all my notes and showed pic and she said she would make it herself. So this was the 2nd sb I went to this evening with my 6 month old baby with me. ELLIE was very argumentative with me and had no compassion that I was not happy at all with my drink. I gave her clear instructions which is nothing complicated at all!!!!! It's not that hard to do 6 pumps of flavor and line a cup with caramel drizzle not sauce! I even showed her a pic of my expectations. Also another young lady working decided to chime in and argue with me telling me my picture is caramel sauce not drizzle as I explained to her I order this same drink 5x or more a week and watch with my own eyes my fav barista at another store squeeze the caramel drizzle not pump out caramel sauce. As I learned that difference years ago!!!!!! They had no sympathy that my baby was crying and they took their time arguing with me and coming to no resolution only offering me a refund. And for whatever reason this location ALWAYS forgets to give me my pastry! Literally EVERY time I visit here. They look at me like I'm crazy when I'm still standing there waiting EVERYTIME! This store really needs to brush up on customer service and compassion. My sb drink is not just a drink I spend easily over $100 or more a week with tip on drinks and occasionally I get tumblers as well! This is my emotional support drink! And I really...
Read moreBE CAREFUL!! Cups are flimsy and bend easily with hot drinks in this Starbuck’s location…
Early this morning I picked up a Matcha Latte like I usually do. Sat in my car and drove to work. I picked up the cup from car cup holder just like I always do, immediately cup bended in half, flipping the lid open and spilling the hot matcha latte al over my work uniform and white interior car seats. I nearly cried and I definitely cursed this Starbuck’s location. I had to speed up to nearest gas station and buy roll of paper towel, water bottles and pick up as much as could. The consequences that followed were just as bad. I arrived to work late and missed my first client’s service. I spent all day working with green stained scrubs. After work I took the car to do detail car wash which cost $80 for shampoo of detail cleaning dashboard. Felt so angry, passed by the Starbuck’s to address the cups not holding hot drinks appropriately and that other Starbuck’s usually double cup. Manager Michelle was not available so Robby the barista simply agreed that sometimes happens and if he can offer a drink. “ NO Robby, I last an hours work and an $80 detailed carwash on a vehicle that was 2 mths old!!”
It’s disappointing but I learned my lesson. Always ask for DOUBLE CUPPING on...
Read moreImagine my shock when I pulled up to this Starbucks and saw a man barefoot, exercising with resistance bands, and using the building’s columns as his personal foam roller. When I walked inside, I asked the cashier if she knew about the situation. She sighed and said, “Yes, and there isn’t anything we’ve been able to do about it—even about his stuff,” pointing to a mountain of belongings piled on a table. She hinted that the man is homeless, but explained that management hasn’t been able to stop him from essentially making this Starbucks his home.
After finishing his workout, the man came back inside, uncovered his personal items—which included boxes of crackers, papers, towels, and grocery bags—got a refill, used the restroom, and returned to settle back in. Customers around me were visibly uncomfortable, yet the staff seemed resigned to treating this as normal.
This is not normal. It is unacceptable that neither Starbucks nor the City of Doral has addressed this. While I have compassion if this man is homeless, a Starbucks cannot function as someone’s living room, gym, and storage space. Customers should not have to feel like intruders in what has become his personal residence.
For this reason, I will not be returning to...
