Burger King — Restaurant in Dothan

I have probably done one or two online reviews. Sadly, I don’t go online and Credit the establishments that do extremely well. On the other hand, I normally do not go online and discuss failures of establishments that are struggling. However, I cannot let what I saw yesterday happen to anyone else. After purchasing my food and my friend purchasing her food we realized how nasty the place was. The Coke dispenser stunk, the ice didn’t work, they gave me a cup of ice after dipping it out of a blue bucket sitting on the floor, there was food all under the equipment, there drink dispenser didn’t work behind their own counter. We were the only two customers in there and there was a spill on the counter that had not been wiped up and had already started drying it was sticky syrup. The bathroom sink had not been cleaned in weeks because the amount of dirt behind the faucet was disgusting. I also believe the air conditioning was turned off or did not work. Two employees had been outside when we got there and they went in and one sat down in a chair behind the register. Once we realized how bad it was, my friend and I threw our food and drinks away and walked out. We did not even bother to discuss this with the manager who was on site and was one of the women outside. Stopped in for lunch. Lady asked if it was cash or debit. Boyfriend said debit and she told him it was only cash and had to go through drive through. He explained heche go through drive through due to the trailer on the back of his truck so he left. Now after he told me that I called up there to see why, a woman answers the phone and says hello and I had to ask if it was BK to start with, she didn't say her name and I asked for a manager and she stated she was the manager but I did not believe that due to her attitude. After I hung up I received a phone call saying one of my managers said you called but her as well didn't give her name or that she was from BK so again I don't believe her. I went above them and handled it w different way. If and that's a big if, they are managers I suggest the owner puts them through training. Might be the worst food ever for a fast food restaurant. Ordered 3 meals and two were tossed in the trash. Chicken sandwich and fish sandwiches over cooked and poor taste. Whopper was a 2. Order was also wrong. Poorly lighted. Employees outside smoking by door and visiting with spouses or friends in parking lot. Their location at drive was not in good taste for customers. Whoppers used to be one of our very favorite "go to " meals. We drove past numerous restaurants to go there. We will NEVER go to this one again. It should be closed. Customer service was also flippant. This experience was so bad we may not go to any Burger King again. The other one in town we used to go to was much better and closer.
