American Deli — Restaurant in Douglasville

I would give 0 stars but not for the food, for the terrible service. My husband ordered hot wings with sprinkled lemon pepper, which this location has done for us several times correctly, & instead he received hot wings with hardly any sauce on them & soaked in wet lemon pepper juice. The cook didnt understand English so the cashier got the manager. My husband asked for the order to be remade but the manager refused & said they dont do this anymore. My husband then asked for a refund but the manager wouldnt give a full refund which is what my husband asked for. The manager proceeded to refuse & acted intimidated, for no reason as my husband was being calm, & made the cashier to call the police on my husband although she didnt understand why. We waited for the police officer who then came & was able to get my husband most of his money back. After thanking the officer & leaving the officer comes back out & tells us that the manager wants to file a criminal trespass warning stating that my husband cant ever step foot in the American Deli again, which we weren't ever planning on doing anyways & my husband already told the manager that. My husband complied with the warning. The officer also told us that this has been happening a lot at this place lately & he also seemed annoyed by the entire situation. Even the cashier was laughing at the situation. The managers name, at the time, is Young Do Kim.

I will never order food here again! I ordered 30 wings and fries. I didn't get any ranch or celery. So I called the store the cashier who was eating behind the counter said oh the packer forgot it. I said ok can I have my fries made over and I'll come back for the rest of my food. Oh no you were suppose to remind him for it. I told her I didn't work there ,that wasn't my job. She placed me on hold only to come back to the line to say " they said no". I asked Who is they? She replies the cooks. I told her I was on my way back. The young man who packed my order gave me my ranch. I told him I wanted my fries fresh. Another gentleman asked the cook to come talk to me. The cook asked me what I wanted. He said " you want fresh fries because you forgot something?" I didn't forget anything cause I don't work there. It should have been with the rest of my food. I explained to him that I couldn't have forgot to get something that was behind the counter. He agreed to remake my fries. Once they were cooked they were tossed on the counter. I went in read my order off my phone completely. Once the food was ready lady opened my plate to show plate (2 orders ) I quickly told her Incorrect order. When I told lady at register she got an attitude claiming I said it wrong. People barely speak English trying to tell me what I said was wrong. She tried to upcharged me for my correct order. I mean terrible service. Once I declined that and I ask for a refund for the incorrect item .She refused also. Terrible you made my order wrong and was too stubborn to just correct the problem. She refused my refund and refused my correct Item. Now I'm refusing them. Most restaurants if not all will refund if there was a dilema On order especially if I was right there and never made a step in the opposite direction. CORRECT IT.
