A group of us came out for dinner and pitchers of margaritas for me and my friend's birthdays. I called to reserve an area for 15 people at 6pm, but only 11 of us showed, which was fine. My fiance and I arrived almost 15 minutes late but our guests were already there with chips and dip all in front of them. After sitting down the server came over and asked if we wanted anything to drink. After saying she has all kinds of beer bottles and if we just named them, she'll be able to get it for us. I think she just didn't want to go get the drink menu like we asked for in the first place. Well, after naming only 2: yuenling and stella artois, she had to go get us the drink list. Let's not get ahead of ourselves now, young lady. Anyway, the table ordered a heineken and 2 pitchers of margaritas. After some time, the drinks came out. The margaritas... to be frank, they looked like dirty orange juice. We all literally said this. We joked and laughed about it but we drank it anyway and it was pretty good. Just don't look at it. It was after we had finished our first pitcher that we realized we didn't have food menus. Which made us adults at the table feel horrible because we had children with us. UGH! How could we?? But this party has been here for at the very least 30 minutes. Why was it not on the server's mind to immediately bring food menus to the table? Or at least ask if we were eating that evening? One of the people from the party even noticed that 2 different families that came in after us had come and gone before we even gotten our menus. That's not okay with me. When the server came back to the table I asked for the menus and she brought it without any hesitation. Kudos. We ordered the food and a couple more pitchers and overall ended up having a pretty good time. We definitely appreciated the birthday desserts and shots that were on the house. And we will be back. Maybe our server was just having an off day. I do understand that when it's a slow day at work, it kind of puts you in a slow motion as well. Not hating. Just noticing. I'm sure we...
Read moreThis is my second less than stellar experience, and while I have had many decent experiences, tonight was enough to turn me off for good. Our waitress got us, threw some menus on a table well ahead of us, and kept walking. We sat, were giving chips and salsa, and ignored for about 10 minutes. We then placed our drink order when the waitress came and stood silently beside our table. I ordered a margarita and water while the rest of the table ordered sodas. Drinks came, I got a margarita with table salt on the rim, and we got one straw for 3 people, I didnt get my water. She took our order, I asked again for a water. No more than 60 seconds passed before food was sat on our table by another waitress, obviously not for us. The other waitress repeatedly said not to blame her, the original waitress put down the wrong table number. We got our very cold and hardly melted cheese dip, and of course sent it back, to get it back again microwaved and all over the place. Our meal comes, isnt right but at this point we just want to eat and leave. She places a salad plate directly in front of my 5 year old daughter, never once said it was hot, so my child of course burns herself. The waitress then joked bringing the next plate about how she burned herself and it was so funny. Another person in my party ordered a steak medium rare, which apparently meant charred to a crisp. I ask again for water. Flagged her down for more chips. Still no water. Fifteen minutes pass and we had to stand at the register to get our bill. The price was outrageous, but I can handle that for good food and service. I never got my water, straws, chips, check, and the service was horrid. I pay with cash, to which she asks for exact change so she wont have to open the register, which I do not have. She starts digging and asking for more change and I give up. Still tipped 10% plus whatever change she owed me. And I will...
