This place is a miss, miss, miss, miss, hit, miss, miss... you get the idea... This evening, my family and I went to Fraizer's for dinner and our experience was horrible. We were ignored when we entered and waited to be seated. The bar tender was busy playing on her phone to pay us any mind. When we were seated, our waitress didn't even ask if we needed a high chair for our daughter (which I was carrying because she is ONE), she just ran off and started tending to tables. I had to ask her for one after standing and waiting for her to come back... we ordered our apps and our meals and waited about 30 minutes for our appetizers to come out. We finished our apps. and when our waitress came by to clear up she told us that our entrees would be out shortly... another 30 minutes passes and we're feed up. No update on our food, no refills, nada. So I asked for our check on the food that we had eaten so we could leave She asked if I wanted the food to be boxed to go and that she didn't know that my meal would take 30 minutes to cook. I told her that I didn't want it and that I just wanted to pay for what we ate and leave. She said that it was almost done, that it only had 20 minutes left... 20 minutes!? Seriously!? We had FINISHED our appetizers over 30 minutes ago!!! She had a slight attitude afterwards which I found a bit off-putting since we still planned on tipping her and cleaning up after our selves when we left. I don't think I could recommend this place only because of it's lack of consistency. It sucks... this place is GREAT when you get lucky and come on a good night. Unfortunately it seems that we pick mostly the wrong nights to go. Also, we went on a Monday night and it was near dead inside. I could understand if it was a packed house, but business was certainly not booming when...
Read moreThis is usually one of my favorites in town. However my most recent experience will keep me away for a while. Got there at 11:30 for lunch and all four of us ordered water to drink. Our waitress, who was unprofessional and seemed as though she'd rather be somewhere else, came to tell us they were OUT OF WATER. No other apology or explanation. In that moment I was so confused it didn't occur to me to order a cup of ice and just let it melt. I was too busy figuring out how they were WASHING THEIR HANDS, PREPARING FOOD OR WASHING DISHES? I have blood sugar issues....but we all ended up ordering sodas as that seemed to be the only choice. Our waitress remained silent offering no other options. The food was shabby at best. Another shock as Frazier's prides itself on made to order fresh food that is usually higher quality. Salads were ok but the grilled chicken was spongy, the buffalo chicken wasn't real chicken but formed balls of pressed rib meat (toddler Chicken nuggets) and brought the decent spinach salad down to disappointing. Three salads, one coconut shrimp entree and four sides later....we were paying 78$. Sorry Frazier's... overpriced food that doesn't meet your former standards paired with less than adequate serving staff and no offer to make our drinks complimentary is, to my mind, bad business. We won't be back for a while. Ps....I am assuming this is a recent issue...as we had my teenager's grad lunch here and everything was delicious...
Read moreDined on patio. We were a large group and had made reservations long in advance, with the statement that we would be outside (this option was one of the reasons we chose this restaurant). We arrived at 12:30, as scheduled. They were ready to seat us at 1:00, forcing people who are uncomfortable sitting inside due to health reasons, to sit in side to wait. The wait staff was friendly. We attributed how scatterbrained they seemed be to it being a large group. Cream of crab and shrimp soup was very good. Crab cakes were meaty. Fish and chips was moist and tasty, the fries were good also. Nothing was extraordinary, but still good. Other parts of the menu needed clarification as we repeatedly were surprised with what was served compared to what we understood from the menu. I ordered a sangria and was told they make it fresh so it would take a few minutes. Okay. 10 minutes later I was given a glass of white wine with 4 small pieces of fruit in it....and charged $13!!?? NOT okay.
I was assured by others who used to dine here often that this place used to have creative and delicious dishes. Not sure if I would dine here again. The not being prepared a half hour after they opened for a group that was trying to be contentious about staying healthy and safe may be too much of an indicator of disrespect to clientele. The cost was on the high side. The "sangria" was...
