Raising Cane’s isn’t just another fast food spot — it’s a masterclass in keeping things simple and absolutely nailing it. Their chicken fingers are on another level. Every time I go, the chicken is insanely juicy and tender, covered in this light, crispy breading that no one else even comes close to.
The crinkle-cut fries? Perfectly hot, perfectly salted, and made to be dunked in that Cane’s sauce that somehow never gets old. But the MVP for me has to be the Texas toast — thick, buttery, garlicky perfection every single time.
And listen, there’s one move you have to make: swap the coleslaw for another piece of toast. I don’t care what anyone says, that extra toast just takes the meal to another level. The slaw’s fine, but let’s be honest — that bread is where it’s at.
The staff’s always cool too — friendly, fast, and they somehow never mess up my custom order. Cane’s proves you don’t need a huge menu to be amazing; you just need to do a few things really, really well.
It’s not a matter of if I’ll be back...

The cashier Bryce was patient and friendly! — I was not particularly thrilled with the food; I feel like it was nothing special (aside from the sauce), and the fries weren’t all that salty. However, I will give a shout-out to the employees that remedied an awkward mistake : We had our foreign exchange student with us, and I guess there was a miscommunication regarding the “3-tender meal” or “3 tender meals,” leading to him accidentally paying $30 for 3 meals when he only wanted one. The employees were very kind in fixing the situation and refunding him, and didn’t make us feel bad about it. — I don’t know if I’d go back for the chicken, but the...
Read moreI figured why not try them. They are new here in Dover, so I figured they would have a few issues because it's grand opening. They still need to figure out their system for sure. You get stopped by a security guard who interrogates and was not very friendly. Then to have to see another security guard to find out if you are cash or card. So it's basically TSA for Fast Food. YOU get to finally order, yet you have no clue what to order because you can't see the menu. The young lady made a suggestion, so I decided to go with that. 25 minutes later, they call my name after waiting at the very end of the line. Food was cold and the Texas toast was far from toast. Just buttered bread. Fries were nothing special and the tenders were something I could have made at home, but...
