We attended Kitty O'Sheas back in 2020 and had a very positive experience, however our 2nd time back this past October was anything but. We are not local to Orlando, we were on vacation from Buffalo and wanted to attend the early morning Bills vs. Jags game with other Buffalo Fans on 10/8. We showed up early and waited until the doors opened at 9am. We found a table and patiently waited for the one server, yes I said one server, to travel to each and every table for drink orders. About 30 mins in we received our drinks, which were wrong btw, but due to the circumstances we understood. In our two hours there the server came back only once and asked if we were good and then stormed away so fast we didn't even get a chance to respond. We were not good, we wanted more drinks and were planning to order food. We watched as the table next to us tried to order food as well and after she handed them a menu (that we still never received) she left again and it was at least 30 min before she came back and realized she never took their order. We still never got a menu or a chance to even place our order. There was one server and one bartender for the entire place. Which is unfair to the staff as well as the customers. We did see a gentleman come in at some point he yelled go bills, then went behind the bar and enjoyed watching the game, not pitching in, we assumed he was the owner. In all my years of going out to eat I have never in my life experienced anything like this. We did understand the bar opened early for the game and we all piled in the place together at 9am, but having only two staff for the entire restaurant is inexcusable and not pitching in to help is even worse. At 11AM, which was exactly two hours after entering the restaurant . We paid for the one any only round of drinks we received and left to walk to hooters across the parking lot. Thankfully the service at Hooters was great! Sad to say we will not be returning to Kitty...
Read moreLet me start with the 25 cent wings Wednesdays. I go exclusively on Wednesdays. It is every Wednesday after 8 o'clock and the drink special is $2.50 bud lights. Now, if you can't get over a long wait and a packed room than AVOID ON WEDNESDAYS. If everyone in your party is patient enough to wait than you'll have a great time. There's a nice little section in the back with pool tables and darts, and as busy as the place gets the games are usually open. They have an outside bar and seating area as well, and sometimes they have corn-hole outside. Although the wings will take probably an hour to get on Wednesdays, they are very good. I won't call them the best wings but definitely a top 5. The staff is usually amazing with the exception of 1 server that is usually annoyed and showing it. But than again, as crazy as it gets on wing night you can't blame them. Like I said, there's usually 1-2 people in my group that hate waiting and start complaining like crazy about the time it takes to get your food, but I don't mind it. Don't bring those people or they will kill the mood. I go to play some games and socialize and expect my wings about 45-1 hour from the order.
Pros: Very cheap on Wednesdays. With beer and wings my tab is usually around $10. Great atmosphere, nice small bar with plenty of games and friendly people. (I usually see a couple of the same people every Wednesday)
Cons: Very long wait on Wednesdays. The servers are very busy and will probably not be attentive to you very much, and the wings take forever to get to you. (The drinks...
Read moreThe atmosphere is nice, the Karaoke is fun, the karaoke DJ DEEGO is super friendly and encouraging. They even give you hand sanitizer and a little cover for the microphone so it's super Covid friendly. The food is good, drinks are good and reasonably priced. My only complaint is the three times we have been in, the waitstaff and bartenders seem like they hate their lives and they also hate us as new customers!!! I know that sounds harsh!! Seriously it's hard to find another way to put it. The place does seem understaffed, and the staff they do have seem over worked. I totally understand that predicament and how it can make you stressed and irritable. But the attitudes that we encountered have been more than just "stressed out" people. My friend literally asked our waitress if we had done something to anger or upset her? We felt guilty to even ask for a napkin or a refill. We are not going back for a couple weeks. Hopefully the problem corrects itself, everyone is entitled to a bad night or two,...
