The worst place I have ever stayed at. The Positive - close to Disney parks, king size bed slept good, master bedroom was dark with the drapes pulled. ||Negatives - the outdated everything (but I could have lived with that), the roaches, the floors so dirty if you walk barefoot your feet are black. Appliances not working. Toilet leaking. The “third” bedroom is a den with a sofa bed the size of a blanket. The sofa bed in the living room was even thinner and disformed. The room my family and I stayed in was nothing like we saw posted online. I wish I had taken the time to read the reviews before booking, but I was frantically searching for a 3 bedroom for a specific week through RCI.||Honest the WORST part was the management and security. Next to our last night the neighbors were incredibly loud, they had been loud all week. This night they also continued to bang on our door and I had 3 kids inside. I told them once it wasn’t their room. It happened again. And I told them again. They just laugh. Ages 1 to 40 or 50 up until 3am. When I called security. She asks me what my problem is. And that I should be understanding bc there are small kids… what about my kids?!?! Next day I go speak with the manager, Phillip, on duty to express my concerns. He ask what he can do. I ask if it is possible to get another night since being that we did not sleep that night. We could not complete the plans we had for the day. He agreed… fast forward we get back to our room late on the extra night he said he had given, and the doors were locked. I could go into complete detail but it’s a lot. The basics is. The “resort” staff lied about not being able to get into the room, multiple lies. I was told they didn't know why the key wouldn't work, securities key wouldn't work either, the battery to the door must be dead (and security "replaced", the final story was "engineering had to come in to completely remove the door to be able to get in" and they didn't come in til the next morning. She could schedule a time for them to come. I asked if a lock smith could be called and she gave me the engineering spill again. ||And when threatened to get in the room our self to get needed medicine. Amazingly the security guard pulls out a key that opens the door. Not kindly but very rudely. With rude remarks. It’s like 4am by this time. I get the kids to bed. Next morning my daughter comes and tells me someone is banging on the door at 8am (checkout was 12pm). Before I can walk to get out of my room. He has come in the door that goes to where my other children are sleeping. He tells me… no one is supposed to be in the room and I have basically 20 minutes to get out per management. Sigh. So I go talk to management, Nancy, who is different from Friday. And she, Nancy, says that what I am saying that Phillip said we could have the extra night was not that night but the night before. We were already booked for that night. She said that was not what her records showed. I tried to show her my email from RCI. she said it didn’t matter what my email said only what their system had. I called RCI and confirmed my stay was Saturday to Saturday, therefore the extra night would have been saturday night with a checkout on Sunday. RCI stated they would contact the resort to inform. After MUCH back and forth she did give me til 11am to get all of our stuff out. Security never stopped circling the whole time I packed our car up.||I contacted the resort via phone and email with NEVER receiving a reply. If I could give this “resort” a negative gazillion for the management, security, and service I would!!! A refund didn’t matter to me. An apology from management, security, service for the rudeness and disrespect. Treating me and my family like trash. An apology is what should have been given. But they aren’t as well as the “resort” not classy or respectful of their guests to own up for their mistake and apologize and attempt to make up for their mistake and lies and disrespect. I could be gifted to stay at this resort the rest of my life for free and I would say no, and I LOVE a good deal. The only reason I did choose this resort is that I needed 3 bedrooms. I didn’t even really get that. Rme. A bunch of roaches, dirt, non working appliances, disrespect, and loudness is what I got. Please don’t book here. It is not worth it. And should be removed from all Timeshare rental options. Ultimately this resort should be updated and completely hire new staff. It is NOT up...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Legacy Vacation Resort in Kissimmee, Florida, and it was truly an amazing experience. While the resort may be a little older, it still offers a fantastic getaway for travelers looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
One of the standout features of this resort is its picturesque surroundings. Nestled amidst lush greenery and serene landscapes, Legacy Vacation Resort provides a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The well-maintained gardens and tranquil atmosphere made for a truly relaxing escape.
The resort's accommodations may be considered older, but they are cozy, clean, and well-equipped. The rooms are spacious, and I found mine to be quite comfortable. The decor had a classic charm to it, which added to the overall character of the place. The kitchenette was a convenient feature, allowing us to prepare our own meals when we wanted to.
The resort's pool area was a highlight of our stay. It was clean, well-maintained, and the perfect place to soak up the Florida sun. We also appreciated the on-site activities, such as mini-golf and tennis, which provided entertainment options right at our doorstep.
What truly sets Legacy Vacation Resort apart is its friendly and attentive staff. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed, and throughout our stay, the staff was always ready to assist with any questions or requests we had. Their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident and greatly contributed to our positive experience.
While the resort's age is noticeable in some areas, it's important to remember that this is also part of its charm. It's a place that has a history and a unique personality that newer resorts often lack. Plus, the maintenance and cleanliness of the property were impressive, ensuring a comfortable stay.
In conclusion, Legacy Vacation Resort in Kissimmee, Florida, may be a little older, but it offers an amazing and charming getaway for those looking to relax and unwind. The peaceful surroundings, comfortable accommodations, and welcoming staff make it a top choice for a memorable vacation. I would definitely return for another visit and recommend it to anyone seeking a delightful and nostalgic...
Read moreENGLISH: As a hotel guest in the United States, I have always been treated with courtesy and professionalism. However, during my recent stay at The Fold Hotel Orlando - Lake Buena Vista (Legacy Vacation Club), I experienced completely inadequate service from staff members Maria and Arnaldo. The stay occurred from May 10 to May 31, 2025, totaling 21 days, with 4 adults, 1 child, and 1 baby. During our stay, a fire broke out in the building where we were staying, caused by an electrical system failure. In the early morning hours, we were surprised by the Fire Department, who demanded our immediate evacuation from the room with our belongings. The only staff member present during the night remained at the front desk and offered no guidance or assistance during this emergency. As compensation for the inconvenience caused, manager Nancy granted us a late checkout until 12:00 PM. Due to the exceptional circumstances, we had a delay of only 1 hour. At 1:00 PM, when we already had all our luggage at the door and were visibly preparing to leave the room, staff members Maria and Arnaldo approached us aggressively, threatening to call the police if we didn't leave the premises and publicly embarrassing us. After communicating the incident to manager Nancy, she confirmed the inappropriate behavior of her staff members, offered formal apologies, and granted a discount on the late fee charged. In decades of traveling around the world, I had never been threatened with a police call, especially in a situation like this - a minimal delay of one hour, after a safety incident, when we were already clearly leaving the establishment. Staff members Maria and Arnaldo demonstrated a complete lack of preparation, being extremely rude and authoritarian in a situation that demanded understanding and professionalism. It is concerning to see how poorly trained employees can damage the reputation of a hotel chain. Staff members are the face of the company, and aggressive behavior like that of Maria and Arnaldo seriously compromises the image of The Fold...
