EDIT: WE WERE NOT A WALK IN APPOINTMENT LIKE THE OWNER CLAIMS. I CALLED AHEAD FOR 2 APPOINTMENTS AND WAS TOLD TO COME AT NOON.* We just moved here from out of state. This was the worst nail salon my mother in law and I have been to. We've been to nail salons all over. This was the first one we tried in Utah, and thought it would be nice since it was basically in our backyard. As soon as we walked in, we felt rushed trying to pick out the color for our nails and toes. The ladies we had didn't say hi or talk to us at all, it was like we didn't exist. We felt very bad for Stephanie (the only white lady working there). She needed new cuticle cutters, and the guy who works there charged her! She said she would Venmo the money to him. This is a business place, it's a business where you have employees- you can't be that cheap! Let alone tell Stephanie that she was too high maintenance.. She obviously cares about doing the best for her customers, unlike the rest. Also, it was disgusting to see that none of the pedicure instruments were sterilized. They were just put right back into the drawers. I wanted to get up in the middle of my pedicure because of the instruments not being sterilized. You know that is how infections can spread, right? I wanted glitter over my french manicure, and the lady doing my nails freaked out. The lady doing nails next to us was a bit reluctant to do it, and tried talking me out of it. I've always had it done, and this is the first place that doesn't like doing it. I know how I like my nails, and I'm paying you to do it how I like it. They apparently don't put a base coat on your toes before they apply polish... Weird. Every other salon does. When I pointed something out to the lady that was doing my mother in law's toes, she got very defensive. The place was a disaster with remodel stuff everywhere! We will never be coming back here again. The treatment was not good. We will go to another place, even if the price may be a littke higher. Highly disappointed. I would give 0...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was really not impressed with my experience getting a pedicure today. It cost me almost $60 with tip to get a pedicure and gel done.
They do not sanitize their instruments or the jet in the tub. She used to tools on my feet that she pulled out of her toolbox and would just stick it right back in the toolbox after she used them on me. She also pulled the toe separators out of a drawer for when the gel polish time came, and after she took it off of my feet she just stuck it right back in the drawer. The tub jet is magnetized and she just took it out and put the liner, then put it back in when they remove the liner in so itās been sitting in water that someone else just had their feet in.
They also did a terrible job on my pedicure. I came in to get my feet fixed up after a few months of dancing in a production. I had dry skin that needed to be removed and she didnāt remove any of it. Not gonna lie, my feet were rough, but thatās why I paid to get a pedicure done.
She also painted my entire toe instead of painting just the toenail so there is flooding and excess polish all around my toenails. Every single one of my cuticles is flooded and not sealed properly.
When I went to check out, the machine proposed tip options and gave the suggested percentages and amounts. The amounts did not match the percentages, they were all upcharged by $1-2 from the actual percentage amount. I would not recommend, was very disappointed, and feel like my money was wasted. $60 to have to go home and give myself another pedicure to fix what they missed and try and salvage all the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been a loyal customer here for years, getting my nails done and eyebrows waxed u til today. I went in for my eyebrows waxed and it was a disaster. The wax was t hot enough, the strips she used she barely pressed down, I had to remind her to wax the middle of the brows. When waxing the under brow she only got the outside of it nothing under the inner part. She didnāt even tell me she was new.. the only way I knew was she had someone following her around and they kept whispering behind me. I could hear her say, ā what did I do wrongā? She then pulled out the tweezers so I thought maybe she would trim them better- nope she plucked 2 hairs! At the end I asked her to trim off the top and she said she couldnāt bc she didnāt know how and the other lady whoās been there said she doesnāt typically do that (even though every other time I go they had) and if I did they would charge more $$. I finally said Iāll just go somewhere else and have them fix it. I really should have given them only 1 star āļø but they didnāt make me pay bc they knew I was upset. After reviewing my brows- it honestly looked like I had just plucked one or two and called it quits. Itās too bad they have gone down hill ever since the new management took over- I used to love this place. I ended up going to Jada Nails and she was able to fix them and make them...
