Decided that I finally wanted to try Dutch Bros after hearing they opened up a new location in Draper, the morning of my first visit, when ordering my coffee in the Drive-Thru at about 8:00 a.m. on February 17th which is a Wednesday, the first thing I noticed was there wasn't very much room for the turning radius on my Honda Accord due to the snowy weather I had to get out and the slide some of their drive through cones over so that I could complete the turn, now I wouldn't normally add this and I complain but I definitely want people who work at establishments like this do not get in trouble for the small things so it's more of a tip for storming or snowy weather. Adjusting the cones in slippery conditions will help vehicles navigate your drive through better, now to continue my story. When I got to the lady who is outside in the cold taking orders from vehicles pulling up, she helped me pick out something my taste buds would like and we decided because I work outside in the cold the cold drink would stay frozen and last me most of the day. I ordered a golden eagle Frozen, not iced Frozen like frappuccino. When I received my coffee the window I did not notice as they do look similar and I figured that out in the way that they blend it. Just before pulling away I noticed the difference when I went to try my new drink. I decided to park in an area where I was not blocking traffic and walk up to the window to get my order corrected, when I walked up to the window, a guy came the window and asked what I needed, I simply said that they got my coffee order wrong and that was supposed to be frozen and not iced, he looked at me and said:
"oh that's your fault you, should have made sure that it was frozen and next time make it known you don't want it iced, it's early, iced and frozen are two different thing okay"
Normally I hate complaining and I usually don't even choose to leave reviews unless I'm leaving four to five stars ā
Maybe it's just the way I took it, and most managers reading this would assume I'm just one of those customers who makes an avid complaint that is completely baseless but you know what I actually definitely did feel like I was being talked down to and I would never talk down to one of the employees I'm usually a pretty nice person and quiet at that, but for some reason this really bothered me.
I don't know if he was having a bad morning or if he just felt the name to talk to me in the way he did but I was not all that impressed so I definitely think I might be taking my business elsewhere. I'm going to give it a few shots at random times the next four months and then update my review here. I hope you was all right and I understand it was a very snowy cold morning, I just want all the employees no matter what to try and have compassion and sympathy for other people who are going to work ordering from this coffee joint before hand. I work with Utah department of transportation and I know my day for the very beginning was going to be very stressful due to the amount of crashes and high traffic volume so that definitely just set the tone for the rest of the day...

After my last visit - my last/final visit to all Dutch Bros stores - I will not ever be returning to any Dutch Bros. I was waiting patiently in drive thru line only to have another car pull up out of nowhere (after waiting patiently for about 15 min WITH A TODDLER WHO WAS NOT HAPPY TO BE SITTING IDLE FOR THAT LONG!) and they got to order/pay IN FRONT OF ME.
I have worked in customer service for 26 years. I have a degree now but still - my clients now must receive exceptional service. So delivering excellent customer service should never go away - and should never be compromised. It takes 20 years to build a reputation, and only five minutes to ruin it.
The response i received from the young girl in the drive thru, when i told her that this car that is now in front of me came in 15 minutes AFTER I had begun sitting in line, was completely unacceptable. I told the lady giving me my drinks my story, and she said the same thing as the girl-- "sorry but the drive thru can get kind of hard to contend with." That's not an acceptable response! If they weren't paying attention to see which car arrived first, then they could have at least asked me. RUDE. Bye bye! I'm going back...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm a HUGE Dutch fan from Arizona and never pass up a chance to stop by and check out one I've never been to. This location was so close to our hotel and while out and about early Thursday morning how could I not stop right? The location is easy to get to and just as easy to spot from the road. My entire experience start to finish was great except trying to maneuver my pretty large truck around the cones semi blocking the lanes which are already fairly small compared to all the location near my home. While it was doable it may be an issue for others also driving similar vehicles. No biggie for me because I can always park and go to the walk up. Both of my drinks orders were exactly how I asked. One hot and the other blended. My go to is typically a cold brew or creamy vanilla protein latte. This trip I opted for a hot vanilla breve. My son's only drink and one he loves most is the white chocolate mocha blended extra thick. Service was friendly and efficient. Great stop. It's always great to see consistency at nearly every...
