Denny's — Restaurant in Duarte

I would say the food was good, actually it was great. I mainly came for the pancakes but I also got the nachos which are so good it's something about the cheese. Anyways the only thing that made my visit unpleasant was the waitress, being the lack of attention or even acknowledgment. My first waitress was lovely I got my food super quick about 20 minutes and it was tasty. Unfortunately it was time for her to clock out she asked the other lady (Claudia A ) to take our table and she responded of course don't worry I'll take care of it. However we never got an acknowledgement from her, no greeting or questions, no service, not even a glass of water. We were there for 30 minutes actually more but that's when I decided to actually start counting the time I would saying probably about an hour of just sitting there and watching her go to every table but ours. Matter of fact another table went in and went out all while we sat there waiting for any service.Eventually we decided to head out and that's when she decides to rush towards us. And of course I would understand if it was busy however there were only 4 groups and of those 4 we had arrived first. If we weren't welcomed at least have the common decency to provide us with the bill. Anyways I would go somewhere else if you actually want to eat and get your order in because Claudia A. won't be doing it. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews until after, it appears management just lets it happen. Now I know to go to...

I arrived at this place today at 6:20 pm with my boyfriend , restaurant is pretty empty and we order a banana split to go. It's is 7:00 now and I'm in my car without a banana split because though the place was empty it took them more than half an hour to make the banana split .The lady comes out with our banana split to go melted already and without a lid her excuse that it looked too pretty for a lid and I asked for a lid ,I don't want to drop that in my car , she goes for the lid and that was an additional 10 minutes the manager saw as well that we were waiting for a while now and asked the lady where is our lid to what she just replies there are no lids and keeps doing her other things ,yet we are just there waiting , when I noticed the lack of customer service I decided to ask for my money back to what the ladybreplied with attitude the manager asked if we wanted a new banana split obviously he saw it was melted at this point and I said no just want my money back because it was too long of wait and his response was that the lady had other things things to do , the place still relatively empty ...my family came here religiously every Sunday for brunch for the past 5 years , we are very dissatisfied with the service and the lady gave us attitude , she is very unprofessional and I don't plan on coming...

I was there after clinic in mall 12:20-12:30 pm sept 27 with my friend have lunch. When I’m in the restaurant no one was waiting in room. I tell the man who was at front desk tell him Kim 2 he put my name on the book tell me wait in room. After that 2 more different people’s come in waiting then he call one party people take to the table. I was looking at him he didn’t respond then he call other party peoples. I looked at my friend asked him did he call my name he said no he take two others group give the table. This is not just today last time I was there they give me so bad service I tell my friend never come back this place no more. But today I try again but never changed. I ask the man why you give the tabl to other groups I was here before they come he didn’t say sorry he says he call my name I like to check that place how far from cash register to seating areas only two steps. And We walk out. I been going to Danny’s so many times everywhere in California I never had complaints but this place they need lot more training n attention to customers. I’m very disappointed Denny’s. I’ll try one more time when I go back to clinic next time (same shopping center). If they do again I’ll get the name n picture sand to main Headquarters office. Meantime I’ll stop going to Denny’s try looking for better...
