This location has gone way downhill in the past few years, with my most recent visit being the last straw. My family and I went through the drive thru and paid for our food at the first window. In between the first window where we paid and the second window to pick up our order we noticed they forgot to ring up one of our combos. No big deal, we’ll just notify the employee at the second window, pay for that combo and then pull up and wait for it to be prepared.
Much to my surprise the young lady working the second window informed my wife and I that she would not be able to get our missing food for us and we would have to go through the drive thru a second time and order all over again. Given that we just spent 15 minutes to get to this point of our visit, that answer was not satisfactory and we voiced as much. The girl then proceeded to roll her eyes at us, audibly huff, and shove our food to us through the window.
At this point we were both pretty ticked off at the initial response, but we were hopeful that a supervisor or manager would be able to understand our situation and work with us to come to a solution. Enter manager stage left, an older lady who unfortunately shared the same sentiment as the first employee! I was completely dumbfounded that she was so unwilling to work with us, and didn’t seem to care about the great inconvenience caused to us by their mistake in the first place! I told the lady thanks but no thanks and drive away.
I was appalled at this store’s complete lack of any customer service skills, and it’s clear to see that this issue starts at the top and just trickle down from there. I’m not sure whether to blame lack of training, lack of incentive, or just plain old “I don’t care”. I work in an industry where my paycheck is influenced by customer reviews of my job quality, making customer service paramount. If this is how the store chooses to handle their customers rest assured it lost a customer tonight.
Oh, and to top it all off, they got one drink order wrong and 2 food orders as well. Avoid this location if you want to be treated like you matter...
Read moreI've only been to this location twice, and I had one 1-star experience and one 5-star experience. The first time I went it was about 20 minutes before I had to clock in for my job right down the street so I was hoping for a quick bite, and one gets tired of eating the same food at the same restaurant one works at all the time. Much to my chagrin, the bite I got was anything but "quick", and it was almost to the point where you couldn't consider it food anymore. After waiting in the drive through line for 15 or so minutes (during which perhaps three or more cars ahead of me bailed), this McDonald's location proceeds to attempt to bestow upon me two wrong orders (probably orders of the intelligent people in front of me who knew to quit while they were ahead). By the time I actually got what I ordered my Coke was weak and watery, and my fries and McNuggets were stone cold, not to mention they gave me the wrong sauce. Of course, if they couldn't even get a COKE right- the one thing Mickey D's does better than any other fast food joint, then I sure as hell wasn't going back for my barbecue sauce. Oh, I was late to work anyway. If I could've left one black hole for that experience instead of one star, I would have.
After several months passed and I was willing to give the location another shot, I was pleasantly surprised. They didn't have everything I wanted, but they were at least cordial and apologetic about it- and the Shamrock Shake needs to be more accessible anyway. I don't know if the management changed or the time of day alone made all the difference, but the food was hot, the fries were fresh out the grease, and the Coke was as strong as a McCafe coffee, just the way Ronald would've wanted it. I'll never go here again before my shift- only after, as I am a woman who learns from her mistakes. You can learn from me too, whomever reads this review. Don't ever go here during the lunch rush unless you want to risk being treated like a clown- not the fun kind,...
Read moreI went to this McDonald’s threw the drive threw and ordered 2 cups of waters for my two dogs. Since they were in the car with me and I didn’t want to leave them in a hot car while I went inside. I pull up to the window and the drive threw person informs me that they don’t want to give me my 2 cups of water and to come inside. Keep in mind I told the drive threw cashier I can’t go inside because I have my dogs and I can’t leave them in the car alone. I had two dogs with me. They told there manager and still didn’t want to give 2 cups of water. I told the cashier it’s okay I’ll pull up to the other window to talk to the manager. I arrived at the 2 window and the cashier was trying to hand me another order. I informed her that I just wanted to cups of water for my dogs. I thought I was going to be talking to the manager but got the cashier instead. The cashier told me, “okay can you pull to the other window”. At this point I wasn’t sure if they were going to give me my water or the manager was going to come talk to me. The cashier that was at the second window came and gave me my waters. I just said thank you and left. Honestly I was so disappointed on how they handled the situation. I personally have experience in management in fast food so I really wanted to talk to a manager. Hopefully they don’t do this again and they get in trouble for how they treat people. I have never written a review so I hope everyone see this and hopefully it doesn’t...
