Food is all made off site so it’s similar to a marginal food truck. My danish was dry and previously refrigerated. The breakfast burrito was kept warm wrapped in tinfoil and was soggy like something from McDonald’s, the hot sauce was something in a packet from a food service provider. I also had a parfait that was very nice, but served in a narrow Sunday dish, which would have been fine except for the large spoon that wouldn’t reach any where near the bottom of the bowl. The staff was not dressed for the food service industry, no hair nets or gloves and certainly not for a professional setting. I get the corner coffee shop vibe they are trying to convey, but wow, totally missed the opportunity to provide a community service. Food was not necessarily overpriced, but you definitely could have done better. As far as the coffee and teas ….. they should start with a good cup of coffee before trying to get fancy. The decorative art on the walls was pretty interesting , trying to find something positive say…. I was offended by most of the comments written on the “art” but I’m sure that there’s someone who would appreciate it.
It was an experience that I could not have imagined from the other reviews. Nothing here justifies the prices they charge. Not being called from the counter each time one item on the order was ready. If you want corporate food and service, Starbucks or McDonald’s would provide better quality food and more...
Read moreStudio Cafe has not only become my favorite spot in town for a delicious matcha made by such talented baristas, but my safe space; a space to build community, create, and feel at home as a human being. I am so grateful for all of the lovely staff and the opportunities that Studio Cafe has provided to explore different creative outlets and connection through the many events it hosts down to the interactive miniature free art gallery inside. I highly recommend visiting, sitting down with a tasty baked good and beverage, engaging with the local community's artwork on the walls and in the back gallery, striking up a conversation with one of the many bright souls that frequent the space, and taking advantage of the free art supplies that Studio Cafe provides. You won't regret stopping by and supporting such a lovely small business that brings so...
Read moreLate summer visit during a snap of cooler weather. Shotgun-esque storefront oozing character. Bombarded with paint, art on walls and rehomed books. Ascetic is plants, paintings, and old things. Ordered what felt like expensive but was UNQUESTIONABLY worth it. Delightful and witty staff served me my ham and cheese croissant. Croissant was local and lightly toasted, cheese was 1/4 in thick, and bacon was just barely burnt on the edges. It was perfection itself.
Mocha when ordered felt basic but arrived in charming tea cup and saucer and was the best mocha I've had. Velvet, not thick/ heavy and not clawing sweet.
I have opinions and will reflect on my current hapiness as i walk a state park trail with my day-old 1/2 priced chocolate chip...
