Ghost Horse Tattoo — Attraction in Duluth

Phil (owner and artist @ Ghost Horse), is one of the kindest and most caring artists I have ever had work done by.

His studio is a quaint little spot in the Skywalk, but it is so beautifully decorated! Phil is a perfectionist and insisted I come back in a month for a touch up on this very important piece, which he worked with me to design to my exact specifications.

He tattooed me for nearly 10 hours, and the entire time he was always asking how I was doing and if I was comfortable! He allowed for frequent breaks to get through the pain, and even allowed my friend to come in and play cards with me during a portion of the work. We even ordered India Palace(almost directly below his bussiness) for dinner as the night went on!

This was the most detailed piece I have ever had done, and the longest session I've ever sat for, but it wasn't the most I have ever payed for a tattoo! His prices are just right, and his tableside-manner and compassion are unparalleled.

I got a tattoo to commemorate my late dog, and Phil accomodated us to use her ashes in the ink. She will be with us forever now thanks to him!

I can't wait to get back on his table for more wonderful art.

Phil is an absolutely amazing artist and person!! From the second you walk in, he makes you feel seen and heard and listens fully to your ideas. He works with you on the design and adds his ideas to make sure it is the best possible tattoo ever. He is such a gifted artist and even more gifted individual. He forms a personal connection with his clients so that you feel comfortable and fulfilled in what you wanted. He makes sure you never walk away unhappy and will go leaps and bounds past what is expected of him. Since I’ve gotten a piece from him, I refuse to go anywhere else! My niece has nothing to do with my review. I paid $300 for a half done tattoo. Your business has not responded to my calls texts or messages since March. I came by the shop twice and it was closed. I really liked Phil but threatening my disabled 19 yr old niece arguing with her and still won't respond to me? I thought I was his friend?? Then after I give a 1 star review now your trying to message me now saying you will sue me for defamation and get an OFP is crazy. Im not hurting your business with my one review.
