Ice&Cream Creamery — Restaurant in Dunedin

This review is for the owners. We have just visited the store. We were first in line. The girl that was wearing glasses (Kaitlyn) started serving ice cream for us, another girl joined and served the rest of the order for us. While the first girl started serving someone behind us. The second girl completed our order and didn’t charged but started helping another customer . We were waiting for someone to come and to charge us, they didn’t care for about 5 min. After we looked into the receipt we noticed they charged us for extra scoop. My husband went in and asked for the refund. Kaitlyn said she can not do it as the WiFi is not working(but somehow she charged us initially and continued to serve and charge other customers) and she can not give cash and we need to come back tomorrow! Wow! Another girl tried to give away her tip money to my husband but he refused, as he didn’t want to take her own money. Then after talking and trying to figure out the situation Katelyn told him to leave, as he was rude. But all he was trying to do is to return his money back that he was charged by mistake. And they refused to do it! And after he came back to the store to ask what was this girl’s name, she said what’s up?! It’s Kaytlin, what’s up? You want to right a review? Go ahead! I don’t care! Now this is a service! We went to this place so many times...

Very nice staff, and my wife liked her ice cream, so I didn't leave just one star. We were referred there to get a special $3 milkshake - that particular machine was broken. My wife needed a bathroom, it was flooded. I kept an open mind and thought I'd​try a hot fudge sundae (my favorite) - guess what? No hot fudge! The girl (again, very nice) mentioned they have chocolate sauce - I politely said no thanks - and noticed on my way out that the chocolate sauce is in a bottle by the front door with a sign that says to use all you want . Normally, that would excite me, but wait - it's by the front door! Who knows who put what in there. Note to owner, please put the sauce on the counter. At least I'd feel like you were keeping an eye on it that way. Summary: Super nice staff, wife said her hot fudge-less ice cream was good, and I'm sure the other problems are fixed. we have been coming here since their first day. they still make good ice creams, but i feel compelled to write this review about their lack of basic hygiene. bathroom has been getting nastier and nastier and looks like no one is required to keep it clean and stocked during their shift. still no paper towel to wipe your hands with. More importantly, without paper towel, one must touch the door handle to open the door when coming out. and the door handle is round (another big no-no for food establishment) you cannot just use your pinky finger to pop it open. if i have to wrap my hand on the dirty door knob, so will every single of its employee. and we always get waffle cones. and their waffle cones have no jacket. and the employees do not use any napkin to pick up the waffle cone. whole...
