Morelli's Gourmet Ice Cream & Desserts — Restaurant in Dunwoody

We went to Farm Burger yesterday and grabbed some shakes from Morelli’s while we were there. It was our first time trying Morelli’s. I tried the strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate ice cream and all three were excellent. It was the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted. I usually hate chocolate ice cream because it never tastes like actual chocolate but this one does. It’s creamy, rich, chocolatey. After tasting the ice cream we decided to get milk shakes. I did vanilla and strawberry and my husband did a chocolate milkshake. They were so delicious, 10/10 highly recommend. Aside from the ice cream and milk shakes being amazing, the customer service we received was outstanding. I didn’t get her name but it was a blonde lady, she was very helpful and so friendly. The place was clean and organized, we are definitely coming back...

Amazing!!! I asked the guy at the front (Jordan Koyi) what I should get. He provided excellent feedback about the brownie ice cream and Oreo. I expressed to him that I was a huge chocolate lover. His recommendations didn’t disappoint‼️

I came in for lunch. I bought a burger and then I notice ice cream on the other side. I didn’t even have to think twice about it. Jorden issued me a coupon for Morellis . I told him I’d try it another day.

So the ice cream itself was delicious, but there was a lot left to be desired in the service and portions. The worker serving us seemed annoyed to have to help us from the beginning. On top of that, he gave us measly portion sizes, which we could confirm because some other customers came in after us and another worker served them and the portion sizes were almost double. If we’re paying $6 for a medium, expect more than one bite of the second flavor. The ice cream we were given was the half melted part on the top of the buckets or the vanilla portion of a swirled ice cream—basically no effort was put into getting us a quality ice cream scoop.
