Update: Management reached out and made things right. I really appreciate this since most businesses would not do this. Will be back soon.
Very disappointed in my delivery experience at this restaurant. I was ordering with a somewhat large group (about 7 people) and we had a big order totaling more than 170 dollars. We ordered about 5 burgers, 2 steaks, and 2 orders of wings. The food took about an hour to arrive (not complaining about this) and we had to pay a significant delivery fee considering the proximity to the restaurant (only about 2 miles and a 7 dollar delivery fee), which to me seems like a lot considering some restaurants charge 1 dollar per mile. Now considering the expensive prices and fees, we were expecting a good quality meal and exceptional service. This was unfortunately the opposite of what we got. When the food arrived (delivered by DoorDash even though we ordered directly on their website), there were 2 bags and it seemed like all the food was there so we didn’t question it. However, when we went to open all the food to hand it out, we found out the restaurant did not give us the full order. We received a Reuben and an extra order of wings instead of the missing burger and steaks. We immediately called the restaurant and they said that they gave us half the correct order and half the wrong order. Apparently the best they could do to compensate was to refund the food we were missing and send a gift card (not sure if it will even arrive/what amount). They also stated that they could not deliver the order and that we would have to order the food again online if we wanted to get it. We did not want to wait another hour for the food to arrive so we chose to eat somewhere else. I was very disappointed in this experience since I paid a lot of money for the steak (25 dollars with taxes and fees) because I wanted the steak. I would have not chosen this restaurant if I knew that I would not be getting the steak. The manger did not seem to care that half of our order was missing. They should have sent it out with the next delivery driver or drove it themselves but instead they made it our problem even though their restaurant screwed up. Read moreIt took 15-20 minutes for the bartender to even acknowledge me and when I was acknowledged she was extremely short with me. She cut me off half way through my order and then started taking my friends order when I wasn't finished. Then was visibly irritated when I spoke up and said I wasn't finished ordering. She was also told 3 times that we wanted the food to go. She still bought plates to us. It took another 20-30 minutes for our food to come. Then someone brought our food out on plates we stopped them before they could set the food down and said for the 4th time it was to go. The server came over and said she never heard us it was to go to which we said we had told her 3 times and each time she said "ok" and rushed us to finish ordering. We had ordered separate but the server never asked if the payment was together or separate. We both our own forms of payment out. Mine was cash and my friend was paying by card. She just took my friends card and charged her for both. We were planning on paying separate had the server asked and wasn't so quick to swipe the card she would have known. When we finally got back to our destination our food was not good. My tots tasted old like they had been sitting for a while, and my wings tasted the same way. Her salad was oily to the point she couldn't even eat it. The other sever who came out with the food had given us extra fries because we told her we told the other server we weren't staying. Those fries were old as well but the gesture was nice. Also the server didn't bother to come back when we finally got or food packed in to go containers. We could have easily left without paying and she wouldn't have noticed for a long time. Her attention to us,her attitude, and her listening skills were all poor. Maybe she was having a bad day, maybe she doesn't like her job but if anything none of that should have reflected on how poor the service was...
Read moreMy family scheduled a get together after my mother‘s funeral on Sunday Dec 8, 2024 for 75 ppl. We showed up and they didn’t have us in the books…Meaning, they didn’t have anything set up for our party that was showing up quickly at the door at 5 o’clock which was the time of arrival. Naturally, our family became quite upset. There was no yelling. There was no disrespect, however, the only disrespect came from one of the managers. I don’t know his name but he was very tall with a beard and dark hair. He was extremely rude when we questioned him about our function And why this could have happened. He said to me that they were working on it..,and I quote “but I could stop working on it if you ‘d like?” Basically he threatened to stop working on it if i didn't stop talking! When my sister questioned him, he said he didn’t expect four people to come at him. Poor baby…isn’t that what managers are supposed to do is handle things like that? And not come at the customers with a mouth like that! I will never return to that establishment. It was bad enough that somebody dropped the ball however, to be treated like that, there is no excuse! Also, we paid $25 per person for 75 people and there was very little food and probably only 30 people had eaten, they did take some money off the bill and brought out some other appetizers. Nobody ate the nachos but they did eat the cheesesteak eggrolls. my friend who came to the service said she knew somebody else that that happened to so obviously this is not the first time. The food that came out was rather good and all of the weight staff worked very quickly quickly to get everything set up for us and for that I am very grateful. You better get a new manager PJ’s.
