Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in East Greenwich

I love Jersey mikes have been eating there for 5 years now. I have recently been doing business with the new store in East Greenwich. I typically order lunch there for me and my co-workers at least once a week. And once or twice a week myself. I have always loved the food and always recommend it.

My experience today was sub par. I ordered 8 sandwiches on the phone. Drove 20 minutes from work to get the order. The awesome sandwiches are well worth the trip. Upon getting back to work I realized that my sandwich was not there. I called they acknowledged the fact they forgot to give it to me. Said "we will make you a new sandwich and give you your money back, we will take care of you." -mike.

I go back to the store and this was not the case. I received the original sandwich that was made a hour ago. I ate a soggy sandwich that was not made how I had asked. And on top of that my money was not refunded.

I did not enjoy the premium sandwich I ate it agrivated and displeased. Not enjoyable at all.

As stated in other reviews, don't bother with this place. It's a long line of people buying overpriced and low quality sandwiches. If you try to skip the line by buying online, lol, then it becomes even worse.... The system tells you to "go to the designated area" (it doesn't exist!). What you have to actually do is stand by the register and attempt to interrupt the current customers transaction and get someone to search for your order hidden over the grill! Funny thing is, the people next to the register are reluctant to acknowledge you over the current customer they are speaking with (not the employees fault!) - so it's a comical battle of the order line getting their stuff and the online people searching for the "designated area" (which doesn't exist!). Then... if you attempt to email the order system to say "hey, i cannot get my sandwich from this place" - it responds "You have been flagged as spam" - if you email that email it responds "postmaster error 500". I would say overall - it's the experience you would expect form a place called "Jersey Mike's" - where some dude from Jersey has just scammed you out of your lunch money. But hey, do you know who he knows?...

As far as quality fast casual food goes this place is firing on all cylinders, they just recently opened to the public but boy did they hit the ground running.

I've been there twice already and the food comes out so fresh you need to let the sun cool before you can dig in, the staff is friendly, talkative and tries to be personable while keeping the sandwich line moving at an impressive pace!

The seating area here is a little cozy but Defoe rly not cramped and the location has access to one of the few parking lots in the area (yahoo! I love not parking on the street!)

This place got bonus points in my book when they put together a free sub program for their first week or two that simply required a coupon and a donation to an unaffiliated charitable cause. They specifically chose a local east Greenwich one as well, which really struck me as above and beyond.

I don't usually give fast casual establishments five stars but what I've seen so far has been downright impressive, hopefully they keep up...
