I came in excited to try the new fall flavors. I placed the order online and was told there was no frozen drinks, which I had ordered online. The specialty drink I ordered was (copied from website as described) Frozen Golden Snitch™ Latte
A frozen caramel toffee-inspired latte, blending sweet, golden flavor with creamy goodness. Topped with whipped cream, Biscoff® crunchy cookie crumble, and a sprinkle of golden shimmer sugar, it’s a magical, indulgent treat in every sip!
I understand things happen and the cashier offered to do it iced or give me extra donuts. I decided to do the iced version which is supposed to have the same ingredients and toppings as stated on the website except the ice would be whole and not crushed. Instead I was handed what looked like an iced coffee without any whipped cream or any of the other toppings that I had paid for. When I approached the cashier he said everything was extra and I had to choose it on the app, which didn't make sense to me because it only gave me an option to remove those toppings not to add them since they are included. We walked through the app together he insisted I would have to pay next time, because there was a glitch with the app. The kids working there are young and are allowed to make mistakes, a less confrontational approach or an apology " I made a mistake, let me fix it for you " would of sufficed. Their customer service skills were lacking to say the least. I will not be coming back to this location. The service and quality isn't what it was at this location. Almost $40 for a dozen donuts and a drink isn't a lot but next time instead of going out of my way to drive to a Krispy Kreme location I'll stick to...
Read moreThis is the first and last time we're going to this place. I had gotten a coupon for a dozen donuts. We asked the cashier, SARAH, if we can get halloween donuts included in the coupon. She replyed, "No, it's 12 glazed donuts." I proceeded to say if we only get 6 of the 12 free glazed donuts, and BUY an extra 6 so we can get the halloween donuts. She didnt understand, and said "No you can't do that, they all have to be glazed." I repeated what I said and she said with more emphasis and attitude, "No, all of them have to be glazed we can't let you do that." She proceeded to turn around, dismissing our conversation and shaking her head and throwing up her arms. She looked at the guy next to her and said "I can't do that," (implying that she can't deal with me). The guys that were listening understood what I was trying to say, and tried telling her but she wouldn't listen and kept saying "No she can't do that." I noticed her behavior and called her out on it, saying "I'm just trying to tell you what I want you don't have to be so rude about, and dismissing the conversation." She said with a saccharine smile that she wasn't being rude, but she knew how she was acting. The guy had our 6 glazed donuts ready, and even tried to make the extra donuts that I wanted free, but I left. My daughter then went back inside to ask for her name, and Sarah looked up at her and rolled her eyes without answering. The guy had to tell my daughter her name, and he had an embarrassed look on his face. I truly hope she gets her act together,...
Read moreI recently visited a Krispy Kreme store looking forward to a pleasant afternoon treat with my family, using a $20 online gift card I received from my workplace. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but enjoyable.
Upon attempting to use my gift card, the situation quickly became uncomfortable. The cashier consulted another employee who approached me with what felt like a series of accusatory questions about the origin of the gift card. His inquiries about where I worked felt intrusive and irrelevant to the transaction.
When I expressed frustration, the employee simply pointed to an old sign that indicated not all gift cards are accepted—information that could have been shared more courteously at the start. After showing my email from work and scanning the gift card, which did work, the employee just walked off without any apology or explanation. The whole incident made us feel like we were under suspicion, not customers about to enjoy some doughnuts.
The staff's handling of the gift card issue was profoundly unprofessional and left a sour taste in our mouths, overshadowing what should have been a sweet treat. Such a simple exchange turned into a frustrating ordeal due to poor communication and rude treatment. Unfortunately, this unpleasant experience has discouraged us from returning. Krispy Kreme, your customers...
