Panera Bread — Restaurant in East Rutherford

I would rather have addressed this with Panera.. but there is no contact number or email to let them know they have serious issues at this facility. I don’t think I have ever had a worse experience in a restaurant. I’m not that familiar with Panera, as I have only eaten here five times or so .. As I looked at the menu, I asked what a craft sandwich was. The associate told me it was a ham and cheese sandwich. I’m looking at the menu, under the title craft sandwiches” and it has five types and none were ham and cheese. I asked if he were certain, he said yes. I asked it was in white brad, panini, a roll.. White bread, he said. I ordered the turkey and bacon with the only bread it came on... white. Ordered a cookie as well, and people I was with had much difficulty ordering as well. Every single thing we ordered was delivered was wrong.my white bread sandwich, came with whole-wheat bread, my side of an apple came with bread instead.. the soup my friend ordered, and was told it wasn’t possible to get with a side salad, came with a side salad, with s dressing we were told they didn’t have, even though the associate told us four times, it could come with it, and as we asked again if they had it, he said no. It was like he was drunk or something. I’m not going to bore people here with the literally dozen things that were wrong. I simply can’t take the incredibly poor customer service. Oh, and as they set the food down, we were told the restaurant was closed. Lol .. still waiting for the call from the manager. I won’t hold...

So here is my experience at this Panera bread location just now I came here to buy a black pepper facochi bread and I wanted to toast it The manager at the time was serving me at register So she said that she cannot toast my bread i said all other locations that I go does toast my bread and am always happy She insisted that she cannot toast it because it's not a sandwich So I said the same way you toast the sandwich is the same way you can toast the bread because I want my bread hot so i can eat it now And secondly the bread is not in a covered sealed cabinet and sometimes i see little flies on the bread And the bread sits there in the open all day I called another male manager which was right there and asked him to please toast my bread and he also refused with all kinds of excuses So i told them forget the bread I'll go somewhere else where they'll do it for me So I drove a few extra miles to another location where they toast my bread in the same toaster oven that they toast the sandwiches and I was very happy with with this service at this other location they made my day. This is unacceptable at this rt 17 location because I don't know how they say they are running a restaurant and refuses to toast a customer's bread if they are toasting sandwiches all day every day, it makes no sense And i hope cooperate will address this issue and make the restaurant function at it's maximum I just was very disappointed for wasting my time...

We ran out of coffee this morning and so I decided to order from Panera since I didn't have time to run to the market. Since I was ordering coffee via DoorDash, I also ordered two breakfast sandwiches, one for myself and one for my husband. The order arrived within about 30 minutes which is normal for delivery these days. Unfortunately, when we received our order is when the disaster happened. The coffees tasted completely burnt, as if someone had made espresso and then left it on a stove for an additional 20 minutes. Burnt to a crisp. The sandwiches? Let me put it this way, I travel a lot for work and have been to more Panera locations than I can count, and I'm always pleasantly surprised at how pleasant things are. Our sandwiches were not only the 5 cent version of what Panera offers - but my sandwich came with egg shells in it which made half of it inedible. How disappointing to pay $25 for items that were made with the least amount of care possible. As much as this Panera is 10 minutes from where we live, we will never go...
