I recently dined at Pho today, expecting an exceptional dining experience, however, I was left quite dissatisfied with the overall quality of the food. While it is my intention to provide an objective review, I feel compelled to express my disappointment with the dish selection and its execution.
To start, the spring rolls I ordered lacked the expected freshness and were rather dry. The absence of moisture made them unappetizing and significantly compromised the flavor. It is crucial for a dish like spring rolls to possess a light and succulent consistency, which was unfortunately missing here.
Furthermore, my girlfriend ordered the filet mignon pho, only to find that the meat was still raw upon arrival. This was not only disappointing but also concerning for both taste and health reasons. Even after the manager kindly brought a hot bowl of broth, it failed to adequately cook the meat through, leaving us unsatisfied and questioning the kitchen's attention to detail.
Additionally, the broth itself was served at a temperature that was not sufficiently hot to cook the meat thoroughly. Though efforts were made by the manager to rectify the situation, it was evident that the dish's overall preparation and execution were subpar, leading to an unsatisfactory dining experience.
Based on my experience, I regretfully conclude that I would not recommend dining at Pho today. Given the quality and execution of the dishes, I urge future diners to consider saving their hard-earned money and instead explore other culinary options in the surrounding area. One alternative I can confidently recommend is Saigon Cafe located in Millburn, NJ, where the dishes were consistently flavorful, fresh, and expertly prepared.
In conclusion, my dining experience at Pho today was mediocre at best, marred by dry spring rolls, undercooked filet mignon pho, and insufficiently hot broth. As a discerning customer seeking a truly satisfying culinary experience, I would advise against choosing this establishment for your...
Read moreEdit: i couldnt respond to the owner comment so i added my thought here. I didn’t feel “neglected” – I felt humiliated. It was as if I was being punished for sitting down without waiting to be seated, even though the restaurant was empty and I was visibly 9 months pregnant, exhausted, and on the verge of passing out after fasting for a glucose test.
At the very least, someone should have noticed my condition and stepped in to assist instead of leaving me to wait for 15-20 minutes while serving others who arrived after me. I didn’t pay to leave feeling like that about my day. The experience was degrading and upsetting, and it’s not something I ever want to go through again.

Terrible Service – Will Never Return
I had an awful experience here a few weeks ago and still cant get over it. At 9 months pregnant and exhausted after fasting for my glucose test (it was already past noon), I arrived feeling weak and nearly passing out. The restaurant was very empty, so I immediately sat down without noticing a small sign saying, “Please wait to be seated.” Despite this, I waited patiently for at least 15-20 minutes while watching them serve other customers who arrived after me. No one brought me a menu or acknowledged me until I finally had to call for one myself.
When someone eventually came to my table, they rudely told me, “Next time, please wait to be seated.” It was humiliating, especially considering my condition. I didn’t act out, and I still left a tip, but I will never go back.
The food wasn’t good, and the menu was limited compared to other places nearby like Binh Duong. There are plenty of better Vietnamese restaurants within a 15-20 minute drive where you’ll be treated like a real customer. As a Vietnamese person, I expected better, especially when this place is so close to my OBGYN. Sadly, they failed me when I needed kindness the most. Rude and...
Read moreTo the owner!! I hope You are listening if You care about Your business because today 4/25th at around 6 okclock my fiance and I came in and sat by the door. We observed 2 other small tables eating so the place was not busy. After waiting 15 mins I had to walk up and ask if someone was going to take our order. This very rude and arrogant boy (and very very skinny. Almost Ill looking) reluctantly decided to walk over to our table and bumped into me while doing so without apologizing. The look on his face while taking our order made my blood boil, like someone was making him wait on us against his will, Extremely awkward and bizzare to say the least. Then while my fiance was ordering he walked away while she was talking in mid sentence! I never once saw anything like that in my life. Then he said under his breath that he's going to have the other waiter boy finish our order. ( The thug with the tattoos on his face!). I told him to forget about it when I saw the tattooed faced boys attitude as he was walking over to our table...the look on these boys faces is so disgusting, You would think that the customers did something to them! Worst attitude I've ever been around , it's beyond uncomfortable. Needless to say, I told me fiance that were not eating here and took our business to the flaming buffet where we were treated with respect and had a great time. Honestly, I think the problem is YOU. It all starts from up top and these nasty boys you hire is a product of...
