This was my partner's and my first experience at Mamoun's. If I were reviewing the food only, I would give it five stars hands down. But a star has to be lost for cleanliness. Not a single table there was cleaned off, and the floors were super sticky, which is a shame because it is relatively easy to prevent these issues. The music there was way too loud also, but I would not take off a star for that, just my opinion. Unfortunately, I find lack of clean tables to be the case in a lot of places where you order at the counter and seat yourself, so this is an area where a restaurant like this can really stand out. We took our time eating our lunch and we never saw a single staff person in the front of the house. It would make a huge difference if the staff were on the floor more often, checking on sanitation issues.
That said, the food was spectacular. We ordered using the super easy-to-use ordering kiosks, and our specifications were executed to perfection. Leaving off olives, putting the sauce on the side, everything was done exactly as specified. The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Portions were generous but not outrageous. I thought the prices were fair.
We ordered two different types of falafel sandwiches and the falafel was hot and fresh, the most flavorful falafel I've ever tried. The veggies in the sandwich were crisp and fresh. The tahini sauce was wonderful, not too watered down, and the perfect balance of lemon and garlic.
I would definitely go back again but for take-out only. I sure do hope they remedy the cleanliness issues in the...

The falafel, their signature dish, is perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully flavorful on the inside, making it a must-try for both newcomers and regulars alike. Their menu is diverse, featuring a variety of traditional dishes like shawarma, hummus, and baba ghanoush, each prepared with fresh ingredients and an abundance of love and care.
The atmosphere at Mamoun's is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff who are always eager to provide recommendations and ensure you have an enjoyable meal. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, with a cozy interior that adds to the overall charm.
One standout feature is their generous portion sizes, ensuring you leave with a satisfied appetite. Despite the high quality of food, the prices are very reasonable, making it an excellent value for the money.
However, Mamoun's can get quite busy during peak hours, which can lead to longer wait times. This is a minor inconvenience when weighed against the overall experience.
In summary, Mamoun's Falafel offers a delicious and authentic taste of the Middle East, making it a top choice for anyone craving flavorful and...
Read moreI visited this restaurant for the first time and was excited to try a variety of items. Overall, the experience was decent, though I felt some dishes could have been prepared a little better.
We ordered falafel, grape leaves, and a shawarma sandwich. The falafel had a nice crunchy exterior, but I noticed that inside it wasn’t fully cooked in some portions, which took away from the overall taste. On the other hand, the grape leaves were quite enjoyable – flavorful and well-balanced, definitely one of the highlights of the meal.
The shawarma sandwich was a bit different from what I’m usually used to. Typically, I expect the wrap to be lightly toasted or grilled, which gives that authentic “shawarma” feel. Here, the wrap wasn’t warmed, so I missed that familiar texture and flavor. However, I will say that the lamb itself, along with the sauce and filling inside, tasted good and satisfying.
Service was smooth, and the place has potential, but personally, I might look for a more authentic Mediterranean spot next time. Still, this could be a good option if you’re in the area and want to try...
