Taco Time NW — Restaurant in East Wenatchee

I used to love Taco Time. A bit expensive for what you get, but still very good. Last time I went there, wait time was very long. One main item was missing from my order. I should have checked while at drive up, but didn't. I tried calling the phone number on receipt. Couldn't get anyone to answer. I left voicemail. I tried calling an hr later, thinking maybe I could talk to someone when it's not during rush time. Nope. Never got a call back. I went to Taco Time website and submitted online feedback since I couldn't get a hold of anyone at local location. Taco Time's "Guest Relations Coordinator" emails me wanting to make things right. Offers a gift card. I say sure and give her my info. NEVER HEARD BACK. I'll never go back to Taco Time. Another complaint is that I ordered habanero chicken burrito and there was like 3 small chunks of chicken. It was almost all bean and rice filling. For a $7 burrito, it was a joke.

EDIT: 6/22/21 I took a good 6+ months off from Taco Time since my last bad visit. I only went to Taco TIme again because a couple of the other local fast food joints had huge lines. So I decided I'd give them another try. I ordered a Crisp Meat Burrito combo, and Habanero Chicken burrito combo and 2 beef tacos. Total came to $27 and some change. That's crazy. Feels bad when you pay over $27 for 2 regular combos and 2 tacos, but I knew that going in.

The real kicker is they didn't give us tater tots with one of our combos. It already felt bad paying $27 for that, and even worse when they mess it up. And it wasn't busy... there were no cars in front of me and no cars behind me, so business...

On Saturday April 14th, 2018 I went through the drive through and ordered the Coconut Shrimp soft taco meal. The person who made my shrimp soft taco should be fired on the spot. They put so much sauce on the taco that it came pouring out like a freaking waterfall of sweet sticky sauce. It got all over my clothes, hands and all over the inside of my car. The amount of sauce was ungodly. Ruined the shrimp taco(which are quite delicious when not ruined by some idiot pouring half the freaking bottle of sauce all over my taco). I ended up throwing it away because of the mess it made all over me. Note to management: Please teach your employees not to put half the bottle of sauce on the tacos. I keep trying every so often in the hopes that one day my food will be above lukewarm and yet, it hasn't happened so far as I am a glutton for punishment but mostly I just really miss the good ol' Taco Time from years before. It is sad as they are almost as expensive as a sit down Mexican restaurant and yet without the complimentary chips and salsa, free water refills, and the fun festive atmosphere. This place continually serves food that has been sitting under the heat lamp far too long along with stale tortillas that are hard in some places when it really is just a flour tortilla.
