DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! My girlfriend and I have to come to this place a few times because we thought it was a nice, inexpensive place to eat & the food was decent but...last night we were in the middle of eating and we see a cockroach like insect crawling on the wall beside the booth we were seating in. Are you kidding me? Disgusting! We instantly lost our appetite and felt like checking our surroundings for anymore. We kindly asked the waiter to take our plates and I told the waiter about the bug. He didn’t even flinch or seemed concerned..almost like it’s happened before & said “oh, I’ll take care of it” and went to the back to return our plates. To our surprise, he comes back with fortune cookies and orange slices and no concern for the bug continuing to roam the restaurant. Are you kidding me?! When my girlfriend was signing for the check we decided we wouldn’t leave a bad review and we just wouldn’t tip because of the ZERO concern for the bug. The host was also hovering around waiting for me to finish. Once we were done, we were walking out the door, they had the nerve to shout for us and ask us “what about our service”. My girlfriend explained that we saw a bug crawling by our food & he just kept insisting the health inspector comes in once a month and they’ve been running this for 30 years..? Okay and?? Why the hell are there bugs just free roaming your restaurant. And on top of that, no one did a thing to make sure it was gone. He finally just said thank you and proceeded to curse us on the way out. Do not go there, they clearly don’t have a sufficient health inspector so who knows what other issues they don’t show any...

I was with a party of five on a Thursday evening in mid-July at about 6:45. While the restaurant was busy, they served us a combination appetizer plate and soups fairly quickly (at least those of us who ordered soup). However, our dishes took at least a half-hour. Mine was a simple broccoli with chicken.
The broccoli was good, it wasn’t overcooked, and the sauce was piping hot. The trouble I had was that the chicken was inconsistent; it wasn’t all fresh and some was clearly not cooked enough.
Who wants to swallow pieces of raw chicken during on otherwise good meal?
One person did not enjoy her soup, saying the wontons were not soft, she didn’t finish it. The egg drop soup wasn’t good either, too runny.
The staff was friendly and energetic, it’s just that the raw- or bad chicken snuck up quickly. There wasn’t much I could do since I had been working on the broccoli and rice first, which was okay.

i am a truck driver from out of town i came in to place my order and wanted scalions added the guy had a fit after he walked to the back to place my order the lady that was standing there said she was treated the same way because she was allergic and needed it cooked a certain way she said she would not return after he came out with my order i questioned the bill he was very demanding for his money like it was the only thing he cared about i paid him though then suggested he should at least try to smile at his customers he said dont tell me what to do that he has been doing this for 40 years and does not care honest the food was terrible i had beef with chinese cabbage it was tasteless i feel sorry for the local people that have do deal with this creep i think most people i come across in jersey...
