Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in East Windsor Township

To owner. I honestly had nothing but a mortifying experience in having to deal with your employees. ( Your ices are fine) But please let me tell you, tonite Wednedsay night 8/10 about 9:00. I stopped in for an ice. I had a very nasty really icey attitude from the girl. About 19. Dark hair in a poney tail in cap. I do not know what I did but she slammed the window on me, and gave me glares. I dont know what I did except ask if she had bu ble gum. I am never rude. , mean, disrespectful, nothing.. So I am a 50byear old woman just coming off of work for a pleasant ice. Them I go back to my car andvit doesn't start. I have to wait for AAA for an hour, . When they're done, they walk past me and say ty o eachother" she's still here?" I don't know what to do, really. When I was their age, and I hd customers. I would at least say, I hope it gets better. Or , will u be alright? I would do that at I said I don't know what I did to her....

I went to the East Windsor location which has completely changed. Over the last 10 years that I have been going, there were always fun, outgoing, college kids, and high school kids working there during the summer. The vibe is completely different now. Aside from that though, I went and got an Italian ice and 3/4 of the way through eating it I see something white Underneath. It was a napkin mixed in with my ice. I don’t understand how this napkin wasn’t noticed considering I got a Child size. I am completely disgusted and so upset and will never go again. I usually love coming to this place. Since they opened for the season, I guess the owners are working there, not sure, but its not the usuals. My ice cream experience has been short of disappointing. I always get a waffle bowl. They put about a teaspoon of ice cream in that bowl, literally skimping you of the full amount of ice cream you normally get. The problem is, you nearly choke on the ice cream treat because it is such a dry experience, you don't have enough ice cream to get the dry waffle bowl down. I won't be back. This is the 4th ice cream I ordered where I am getting about a teaspoon...
