Walgreens — Local services in East Windsor Township

I usually do not write reviews, but this one Review caught my attention. This Walgreens has the best pharmacy and the best pharmacist in the area. I saw you, Mr Marcus at the pharmacy Sunday about 3 weeks ago when I was picking up antibiotics for my 8 yr old. You are the one who was harassing the pharmacist to fill your fake prescriptions of painkillers inspite of the pharmacist politely, telling you 3 times that he doesn’t feel comfortable filling your prescriptions that were written by some Dr in Jersey City. You choose to come in the pharmacy on Sunday evening just half hour before closing so the pharmacist cannot even call the doctor to verify the prescription. Me and many other customers were stuck behind you while you were screaming at the pharmacist and the technician. I am surprised why the pharmacist did not call the police. The funniest part of your comment is that pharmacist was racist, when he himself is a minority. You were rude and having the totally unacceptable behavior in front of kids and others, in our local pharmacy.

Me and my family know Denish Shah for a long time as a pharmacist. I haven’t seen a lot of people out there, willing to go out of their way to help others. During the pandemic, he was out there helping us with our medication’s and giving vaccinations. He did not call out even a single day. He’s an integral part of our community.

I saw the other reviews that you have written, not one has anything good to say about anyone. You even call local police racist. So it looks like anyone who denies you service for a legal reason is a racist. That says a lot about who you are.

I will be surprised if you have a job other than to harass Honest and Law abiding citizens. Why don’t you find yourself a Pharmacy away from this area. Families in this area don’t have to deal with druggies, especially...

I have used this pharmacy for years even after moving about 40 minutes away they were good up until recently over the past three months. It’s been very difficult to get some medication’s on time. There are some you could wait a day or two and it’s not a big deal, but being disabled having severe pain in my back and legs are medication I take that you cannot just stop cold turkey. They had my prescription for 12 days. Told me it would be ready Sunday morning which was already a day late. Come pick it up Sunday morning. They tell me they don’t have it in stock when I called Sunday morning 10:30 AM.It’ll probably be Monday more likely Tuesday. Monday morning I call at 9:20 AM to see if they have the medication. I’m told they’re doing inventory. They didn’t open their delivery yet. Couple minutes later I get a call. They do have the medication to call back in the afternoon doing inventory I call back at 2:30 very rudely, I’m told they’re doing inventory. The most likely fill it after 5 o’clock. My doctors office calls to see if there’s another place we could get it from and they’re told it’ll be waiting for him at 5 o’clock. I go up Monday night at 5:20 PM and I don’t receive my medication till after 6 o’clock, waiting in the parking lot until they got around to it. literally every single time i try and fill my script it is the same exact problem. I’ve been going to this walgreens for like 10 years. you would think they would build a relationship with their long time customers. But no. No they don’t care about their customers and they will lie to you and make up dates or problems because they just don’t feel like doing the work. They won’t call your doctor for you, they claim they do not even have a physical fax machine in the establishment. I need my blood pressure medication, and unfortunately, since walgreens does not have a physical copy machine, i must wait days now until i can get it again, My husband has the same exact problem with the medication he gets every. single. month. as well. They can never fill it for this reason or that reason or the date isn’t until this date but another employee will you give you a different date and a different problem. literally nothing about this pharmacy runs smoothly. ever. there is ALWAYS a PROBLEM! if there were more local options, we would 1000% switch pharmacies but walgreens is the sadly the largest and best in our area and CVS might be even worse with...
