BunBusterz — Restaurant in Easton

This was our first time at Bun Busterz, and naturally we had to try as much as we could! There is plenty of seating, and a nice high top “bar” by the window where we chose to sit. We got the Signature Philly dog, and it was phenomenal! You wouldn’t think they’d work together, but it was delicious! The cheesesteak meat, onions, cheese, queso, on top of a hotdog? YES PLEASE. My husband gave it a 9.6. We also got the Sea Dog, and that was also delicious! The tartar is more of a dill type sauce, which I appreciated! The fish was crunchy, and a good sized piece! We gave that one an 8.5! It’s good but it was outshone by the other things we got! The Chicken Bacon Ranch fries were, as my six year old says, “top tier”. The chicken was crunchy, there was soooo much bacon, and a healthy drizzle of ranch. Next time I’ll ask for more ranch, simply because there are SO many fries! Once you eat that top layer, there’s fries for days, definitely a shareable option! Overall we gave the CBR fries 9.6. We also got a Bacon Smash Burger, and in was in a bun like a hotdog! It was thin, cooked perfectly, and the sauce was so good! Another 9.6 from the fam! And of course, to top it all off, we had to get the PB&J Frenchy! It was SO good! The French toast was dusted with powdered sugar, and it housed a large banana, drizzled with a healthy amount of peanut butter, and grape jelly! 9.5! My only wish is they had an option for either strawberry or grape jelly, as I prefer strawberry. But all that to say, I would still get it again! My daughter got the kidz meal of a hotdog and French fries, and while that was good, she was awestruck at what we ordered and decided to bail on her hotdog, and indulge in everything else! Truthfully, I would get EVERYTHING we had again! I’m disappointed I forgot to order the Mac & cheese, but there’s always next time, as we will most certainly be back!

Edited to add: The staff was all SO friendly! The woman working the counter was so, so, SO sweet, and she was so patient while I was bewildered looking at the menu! As if the food wasn’t already enough of a reason to come back, the hospitality certainly is! There was a gentleman walking around, I believe he was the owner, and he was ALSO super sweet. Horrible management. I ordered $80+ worth of food for my family while visiting from Florida for a family tragedy. My pick up time was somehow automatically altered to the next day after I paid. I called immediately to request to cancel or to see if they can just fulfill the order that night because I needed the order that night. The staff called the “manager” and they claimed she cancelled the order and I would receive a refund within 2 days. It’s been 3 weeks and the “manager” has ignored several phone calls from me and there has been no refund initiated. When I call the staff says they are all aware of what happened and thought the refund was issued. They ask for my contact info but I never get a call back from the “manager”. I have had to dispute the charge with my bank now but it’ll be 3 months before I can get my money back. My husband walked across the street that same evening and replaced the order and paid for it. So they basically were paid twice ($160+) for one order and the food wasn’t even worth the price. was excited for this spot, awesome vibes inside! hot dog itself is a good quality, Easton dog was a good mix of toppings. I ordered a Smash Burger not expecting it on a hot dog bun but it had great maillard reaction, beautiful toasted on hot dog bun and tasted great. honestly, prices are a little high but it was understandable being in the middle of downtown Easton. Got a chili cheese dog to go, which is generally how I gauge a hot dog spot, this is where it went downhill. Chili wasn't a chili at all, more like a flavorless meat sauce. no onions or seasoning in the chili at all. also topped it with low quality unmelted shredded cheese. chili cheese dogs should come with a cheese sauce or at least better quality & melted shredded cheese. the fresh onions on top were a nice addition but not good enough to make up for the extremely bland chili, didn't even want to finish the hot dog. will give them another visit for sure but will definitely be avoiding the chili cheese dog unless they update their...
