Pearly Baker’s Alehouse is a true Easton gem that combines the warmth of a classic pub with a fresh, modern vibe. From the moment you walk in, the cozy, historic charm of the building envelops you, with its exposed brick walls, dark wood, and lively atmosphere. But it’s the stellar beer selection and flavorful food that truly stand out. With an impressive lineup of craft beers, both local and beyond, there’s always something new to try. Whether you’re a craft beer enthusiast or just love a cold pint with friends, Pearly’s never disappoints. The menu features elevated pub fare, and you’ll find that every dish—from hearty burgers to creative appetizers—pairs perfectly with the brews on tap. The staff is friendly and welcoming, always ready to make recommendations or share a story about the latest beers. Whether you’re grabbing a quick drink, meeting up for a casual dinner, or enjoying live music on the weekends, Pearly Baker’s Alehouse offers an inviting, laid-back atmosphere that keeps you coming back. It’s the kind of place where you feel right at home. This captures Pearly Baker’s Alehouse’s inviting and vibrant experience!

I went here mid day (1:30-2:00) and got seated right away. The order was placed quickly but I was disappointed there wasn’t many options on the menu regarding different foods so my party ended up getting the blacken chicken sandwich, the children’s angus sliders and the salmon sandwich. The salmon sandwich was good, however, the blackened chicken sandwich had no real flavor and too much cheese. I also couldn’t taste the mango bbq sauce they put on it. The fries are supposedly home made but they tasted average and had way too much salt on them that was over powering. The food was average but what surprised me was that no one came and refilled our drinks or even asked us about them and mind you the restaurant was empty. Also it took a long time for us to get the check and we had to ask for it twice.

Pearly Baker's Alehouse is a lively, bustling spot for some pretty decent food and loads of drink choices. The staff are great, they're super accommodating and friendly. The menu has a decent selection. Tried the Chicken Florentine - the risotto was pretty good, chicken was a hair overdone, but the rest of our meals were pretty good. There are a lot of beers on tap (the bar has a ton of tap heads hanging from the ceiling), lots of great choices. It's pretty loud in most areas when it starts getting crowded, so just be prepared. It's located just off the main plaza downtown in a great location (really close to the parking garage too).

Fortunately for Pearly Baker's, zero stars, is not an option.

We should have known it was going to be a horrendous experience when the waiter introduced himself and informed us the service would be subpar because he was new. We've all been "new" at some point, so we put that aside and looked over the menu anyway and placed our order.

We ordered drinks and then patiently waited 35 minutes to get a beer and a glass of wine. Finally had to go to the bar and ask for drinks. We were then informed that the restaurant was in fact out of the wine my wife ordered and had been for several days.

Fast forward an additional 15 minutes and had to flag down our server and inquire about our appetizers. He informed us that "things take a little while to be prepared"....sorry sir, but 45 minutes for appetizers is a little obnoxious. Finally received apps and must say, they weren't to bad. Had the dumplings and French onion soup.

Order another beer and our server preceded to take my glass even though it was still half full. His reasoning...they were out of clean glasses and he was going to refill the glass I already had.

Our main course finally arrived over an hour into our time at the resultant only to find that our burgers were rare at best. Middle of the burgers were still cool to the touch. We order them medium to medium well.

Sent both burgers back and asked the server to not bother having them remade and to just bring us the check. For our troubles, they found it in their hearts to not charge us for one round of drinks.

During the entire time we were in the restaurant, maybe 2hrs total, the manager sat at the end of the bar not 4 feet away from us enjoying her night caps. Not one word was said to us nor any acknowledgement of our horrible experience.

Needless to say....we...

Go to be disappointed. Leave with regrets. If I could create a title for this review, that is what it would be.

My wife and I had dinner at Pearly Baker's last night with 4 other couples. We arrived early for our 7pm reservations and were asked to wait because the table wasn't ready. At 7 I checked again and was told, in a snit, that "We're getting your table ready and it's just now 7 o'clock."

Eventually they seated us. When I ordered, I was told they were out of short rib pot roast so I changed my order to the lamb t-bones. My wife ordered the pork shnitzel. The lamb was fine, but a very small portion. My wife said the best description for the pork was that it had been cooked last week, stored in old oil and reheated last night until it was hard and dry. It was simultaneously hard, dry, and greasy. She didn't eat it.

Then when we ordered desserts my wife and I ordered the "Bocci [sic] Cake". The waitress came back and said they were out of that, so I ordered the chocolate lava cake. She came back and said they were out of that, too. My wife ordered the honey and ricotta mousse desert which they also didn't have so she then asked for the "Black Forrest [sic] Cheesecake" and was very disappointed. I gave up and ordered ice cream.

Additionally the service was slow. Everyone remarked about the very extended wait between our appetizers and main course.

My wife and I spent over $100 for our dinners and were very disappointed. We were disappointed without respect to the price. It was awful even if we spent half that amount. We dine out frequently in NY, NJ, and PA. We both agreed that this easily is the worst restaurant that we ever had the...

Food took over an hour to get to our table! Only got rolls because after around 1/2 an hour, I asked for some! My steak was cooked perfectly....to bad it wasn't hot. The potatoes and onion straws were "lukewarm". Neither our waitress nor the "big guy" who looked like a manager ever came over to our table before, during or after to see how our table was. I was with the group from the repass (Marcia). Our reservation was I think 5:00. Funny, I had to run out because I had another commitment at 7:30 that evening. I used the EXTREMELY small ladies room. Myself and 2 other women were in there. This COMPLETE STRANGER asked me how I liked the place. Bottom line, neither one of us had ever been there before and BOTH of us said we'd never go again. We BOTH had similar experiences with the food taking FOREVER, it coming out substandard and the wait staff "looking busy". BOTH of us said it was so bad, we'd never go back and that we'd make sure to tell others of our experiences. I must say, the only person who was very attentive to our table, our GROUP and other tables (I had "nothing to do" but watch the staff LOOK busy, was a young black man who provided patrons water. I wish I got HIS name. This young man was polite, respectful and clean. I just can't stress how comical it was watching staff "lean", LOOK frazzled, LOOK busy and lack of focus from I assume the manager. I do live local and was always curious about your establishment, now I know (as well as the 2 ladies I met in the restroom! You only have one chance to make a good first...
