Davanni's Pizza & Hot Hoagies — Restaurant in Eden Prairie

Well, its been a year or so and decided to give it a try again. At least got quicker service, but still can't listen. Ordered the penny with fettuccine, again, delicious. But also order cheesy garlic bread, and it was repeated back to me. When at the till, stated wanted cheesy garlic bread again and some how, it wasn't ordered. Really don't know how this can happen while literally standing at the till and pushing buttons. I'M DONE with this place. Will never come back again. Will tell every person I know about my pathetic experiences at this place. Again, great food, but can't even get the basics correct. Oh, forgot. Saw the person working here twice. Take the order and pay the bill, even though place is virtually empty and there at a minimum of 6 working

Fantastic food! Pizza is great and fettuccine is to die for. BUT, there service is substandard at best. Sitting at the bar is like having to beg for water in the desert. Seems they have a lot of new employees, but really, should I have to ask for everything I need? Even when I first get seated!

Update: July 30,18. Bellied up to the bar around 1:05 for lunch. Got nothing for three minutes, started timer.. OVER 18 MINUTES JUST FOR SOMEONE TO TALK TO ME! Manager seemed SLIGHTLY apologetic. Nothing really sincere! Last time here! Sad, because their food...

We love Davannis and order quite often but after tonight, I'd rethink ordering from this location. It's Saturday night so I know they're busy but that is no excuse for such poor, annoyed sounding customer service. I felt like I was wasting THEIR time while placing a simple delivery order, (2 identical hoagies, no mayo, that's it). I blew it off thinking they were just busy until the delivery guy showed up and acted the same way!!! We tip well and treat everyone with respect.. not sure why we were treated like such a nuisance to them but it was obvious we were intruding on their night. What a disappointment. Good food usually, but the customer service makes me want to go elsewhere.

9/23/2016 9:20pm Update Rating was down graded. We tried Davannis again. We recieved a cold pizza after requesting a well done pizza (not even close.to well done, even cold). We called just to let them know that the pizza was cold and we had to cook it ourselves. We called to explain our frustration but Lindsey made it very clear that she didn't care. She didn't offer any apologies or confirmation that she would pass along the message to the cooks. She sounded annoyed with us and was pretty occupied with everything going on outside of our call. This is the Last time we will ever order from this location. We tried AGAIN thinking it must have been a bad night or busy time but we're done making excuses. Crappy employees...

On arrival, the place looks nice and clean. You order at the counter then take a seat. We ordeed 2 solo pizzas, cheese bread, and kids penne with red sauce.. Garlic cheese bread came out before the food and was really tasty. The rest of the food was out in about 15 more minutes which was reasonable. Our food had several errors when it came. My daughter got kids penne pasta with red sauce. They served plain pasta with a breadstick. I told them about the error and in about 5 minutes they brought it to us again with sauce on it this time. She ate it with no complaints - red sauce was basic but very tasty. I ordered a veggie pizza with pink sauce but when it came it did not have any sauce on it - just cheese and veggies. I did not say anything because I didn't want to wait for a new pizza. It seemed that the cashier was either new or not paying attention so I believe the errors were probably on his end while we ordered. Pizzas were good - nothing special but tasty enough and fresh. Total order was $23 for 3 people and an appetizer so cant really...
