Rude service by more than one employee and I know I have never been combative with either staff member to justify this behavior. This location acts like you’re an inconvenience to them. Being combative or starting a problem with them is asking for your drink to be remade after they didn’t prepare it the way you asked. Why work in customer service? I read a couple of the other reviews, 🤔 seems like I’m not the only one that thinks the same. Someone needs to be honest with them and just tell them like bro-you suck at preparing drinks. Be honest with each other so that you know where to improve! Make them prepare each other’s drinks for a while and see how that works out for them! If they like tossing their hard earned money down the toilet on a weekly basis. The assignment is far from rocket science.
Update - 11/20 clearly my review got to Anne. She made it a point in the drive thru today to let me know she prepared my drink and brought it to me in a passive aggressive manner. I asked her about her rudeness which she did not have any response for, brought the drink to me with no whipped cream or toppings and when I pointed it out ignored my previous statement of being rude. Asked her coworker if I had done something to her and he’s like nope, we’re just fighting with the blender today (he’s always cool, literally always unbothered and chill) but anyways so I’m like ok? So what was the purpose of her behavior? Rude. This is her second or third time too, I remember one time she gave me a small drink when I had asked for a medium and looked at it twice like I was lying to her until she really looked at it then apologized for saying that she didn’t believe me. I don’t get off on people hating my guts or anything so not sure why she hates my guts. Maybe because I’m particular but again, no one likes tossing 6-7 bucks a day in the trash. Also what if I had a disability? Anne doesn’t know?! Would you still be as rude to someone with a handicap on the outside?! I’m particular. That’s what I’m guilty of! I didn’t even trust her to remake my drink. She was gone for like 5 min just putting the whip cream on, the drink was made by then 👀 so what was taking so long? Wish I had taken a video of how she brought out my drink or taken a picture of it before she...
Read moreThe coffee and drinks are great, but the white chocolate raspberry scone has got to go!
Bring back the white chocolate blackberry scone. This scone was far superior to it's replacement the white chocolate raspberry scone. The blackberry scone actually had whole blackberries in it and blackberry sauce for an explosion of blackberry and white chocolate favor. It was delicious! The raspberry scone is consistently devoid of raspberries and has a minuscule amount of raspberry sauce on it. In fact it has never had whole raspberries in it, just a few drops of raspberry sauce. It makes for a very bland tasting scone. I keep trying it every so often thinking that maybe it will get better, but alas it doesn't. I have pictures of my latest one showing virtually no red raspberry showing in almost every bite. I'm going to show it to them tomorrow. It is a sad excuse for a scone. They must have changed bakery venders a few years ago.
I once brought my own raspberries and placed 4 of them on top of the scone and it made for a good scone. If you want one,...
Read moreEvery Caribou coffee experience is the same, regardless of the location. They have people who don't know how to make drinks. My usual drink is an iced Americano, with half & half, and Splenda. Arguably, the easiest coffee drink to make. It's always a throw of the dice as to how I will receive my order. I've had it served to me where the liquid was 2 inches below the lip level, with five ice cubes in it, and still warm (when I questioned the barista they were actually shocked that I thought there was a problem with that). I've had it served to me with no cream. I've had it served with too much cream. I've also had my drink handed to me with cream and no Splenda. The vast majority of the time, the creamer and the Splenda are at the bottom of the drink, and the drink is never stirred, therefore I can't get the cream and Splenda to properly mix into the drink (stirring with a straw doesn't work). Caribou coffee used to be a great place to get a coffee. Now? Not so much. I blame corporate culture and a lack of pride...
