Acai Creation — Restaurant in Edgewater

It was our first time trying out this place. We are both picky eaters and we were disappointed with it. First of all, we ordered the juice and bowl combo and for the first time I’m ever in a store where I never hear one blender or juicer go off after we ordered. First of all, that açaí bowl was a disgrace, it was so bland and tasted like it was pre-made and thrown back in the freezer safe container cause there was still pieces that weren’t melted. Açaí bowls are usually blended with other ingredients as a base and than various topping placed on top. It’s never just the açaí itself. There was way too much granola and those bananas were beyond ripe. If you wanted to sell pre-made and bottled juices than they should be in the fridge outside for grab and go. I was shocked to learn that the juices were made the day before and stored in big bottles and just mixed together in the to go bottles. You will not...

I also love their açai bowls. What I loved most was the freshness of the ingredients. The fruit was perfectly ripe, and the granola was crunchy and added the perfect amount of texture. It’s clear that they put a lot of care into each bowl they make.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere inside the store was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a healthy treat. Whether you’re grabbing something to-go or sitting down to enjoy, you really feel like you’re getting a wholesome, delicious experience.

I ordered takeaway from Acai Creation because I was excited to see a new smoothie bowl spot on my commute to school. The smoothie bowl was absolutely delicious, hands down the best spot. Most places will overload on the cheapest item in the bowl to take up the most space. But they really give you a fair portion of everything so it tastes great. I only got one of their juices and it tasted really good, everything tastes really natural and not overly sugary which is another thing I liked.
