This place was a cool local's pub that had great food...a place to go grab a couple of drinks or grab a nice dinner. They have daily specials for food and drink, and the prime rib was a great deal. We received fantastic service from Simon, and it was a fantastic experience overall.

NEXT VISIT, STILL FIVE STARS: We really like this place, and our last stop-in, for brunch, proved it once again...and that we need to go here more. Tanya was flawless behind the bar, and offered us high level service along with a fun personality while doing so. I had the JC Benny, and it just made me want to go for lunch and get that JC burger with cream cheese. The Benny had great flavor, and the potatoes it came with had delicious peppers and onions. Wife got the Greek Bowl and liked it. They had Juicy Banger for an IPA on tap, and wife had a really, good Bloody Mary. Great prices for what you are getting, TV's in sight with sports on, classic rock was the background music, and it was a great experience overall. Good-sized bar if you are like us and like to sit at bar. Definitely recommend and see you there.

MY MOST RECENT VISIT: Another 5 star rating. I met a friend for a very somber and serious conversation, and somehow McKinsey still made the visit perfect. I finally ordered what I have been wondering about every time I go there...the JCB burger. It was fantastic and then some. Spacious bar, energetic music, very tight staff by visibility, and solid rating on the food. They have the Ratio Antidote if you like IPA. I ordered the side fries with their buffalo wing sauce and they were amazing. So, I will rave about the JCB for this visit, but I really haven't had anything that was below awesome here. Love the environment, love the staff, love the vibe. What is ironic is that my OTHER picture is the JCB...Benedict. So, apparently, just order the JCB whatever. Cool beer garden across the street when you are done. Definitely recommend, and...

So six of us came here last night for the second time in probably three weeks. I last reported that when you think you’re getting breasts, they give you tiny breast pieces. Today I was one of the only ones that wanted chicken and I asked the waiter can I get all white meat and I’m willing to pay extra he says no we don’t do that. I didn’t want to be a Karen, but I asked again if I’m willing to pay why can’t I get all white meat?

Long story short, he wouldn’t do it, which is beyond comprehension to me, but I guess every restaurant has rules, but you should really think about saying yes more than saying no there’s a lot of competition out there.

I ordered the bacon wrapped meatloaf instead. Disgusting is the first word that comes to mind. The bacon was soggy, not crisp and the meat had a strange taste like it was in a fire, not flame broiled, but in a fire. I ordered a side of potatoes. I got no gravy. They wanted to charge me four dollars for one biscuit.

I can go on and on and on we spent $175 for six people. I left their hungry. I won’t be back to be fair my friends who did order the chicken that do like dark meat because that’s all you get....

Was just at Sloan's for happy hour with a friend who lives in the neighborhood. We were there with her young son. This was my first time but my friend says they go there often. Today they lost my business and more importantly the business of my friends who live just blocks away. Our service was terrible. We asked about a high chair and were told there are some in the back of the restaurant. (1st strike) We ordered food for the kiddo right away and then beer and a snack for us. We got plates but no silverware (2nd strike). (We did eventually get silverware). Then we never saw the server again.(3rd strike). She was frequently at the table next to us but never even made eye contact with us. We had wanted more food but gave up and put our cards out to pay. Still she never came. Finally I flagged her down and she came by and ran off with the cards so fast we couldn't answer her question about how to split the bill. Had to run after her to tell her how to split the bill. We were told there was no real manager there when we asked to speak with one. (4th and 5th strikes) We have a lot of places to spend our hard earned money and this is...

The waitstaff and host were friendly. It looks like they have good prices, I only paid $6 for a large mimosa! Their happy hour looks good too. Only 2 stars because my meal was really disappointing. I got the corned beef hash, and there was barely any corned beef in my dish, like 3 flakes of it! It was flavorful, but for $15 you would think they would serve meat with the dish. It's hard to believe someone would sell that in good faith, and if I wanted potatoes and peppers I would have just stayed home. I'm still really hungry if you can't tell. That being said, I'll probably give this place another try, maybe the Benedict or the regular breakfast will be better, and it's more reasonably priced, and the happy hour looks good. Based on the other reviews the owner might want to check in on the cook's standards and consistency.
