I walked in and was welcomed by the staff and big smiles. These guys were there on a weekend fully cooking and working to their best. I gave them my name and they fired back with a compliment and made me feel like I was a regular. Seriously, everyone’s attitude was infectious. I would hire these guys to work for me in a heartbeat based off of how happy they were to be serving the community.
The food is great, and served hot. I’ve ordered online once and they threw in a $2 off my next order with it. Today I ordered in store and at checkout, the guy handed me a free cookie. Like, what?! Man! Thank you! Haha little things make you go “I want to give these guys a great review. They’re going the extra mile.” I threw down a nice tip and walked out with my day brightened. Thank you for that experience. I needed that today.
It wasn’t just me either. They treated each customer that walked in like that. I hope the owner takes note of this review and gives everyone a Pat in the back. Even the people in the back area were hustling. Everyone had a job, knew their job, and were hard at work. It’s hard to find these types of people. Do what you can to keep...
Read moreIm not much for reviewing places (especially chain restaurants) but a recent experience at this Jersey Mike's warranted some praise. My online order was only two minutes late and still the employee gave me a free cookie and a coupon. You read that right -- only TWO MINUTES. At most places, if your order is 15 minutes late, you get a frown, and if you're lucky, maybe an apology too. I was shocked by the generosity of this employee (young man, white, glasses, short hair, about 6', average weight -- Im identifying him so you can give him a raise) and even if they're just a stranger doing their job, I really appreciated that he made such a gesture as to show he respected my time and my business. This small moment genuinely made my day because it was a real human moment that cut through the constant and emotionless deluge of all the transactional exchanges that happen between customers and employees -- it also made my day because it was a free cookie, and...
Read moreOrdered pickup from this location and asked for onions and relish on the side. When I got home after picking it up, about 20 mints away, I found no sides and that the onions and relish were on the sandwich. I called to express my frustration and the manager told me that the order was confusing because I had listed onions and relish in the sandwich ingredients but then said onions and relish on the side which made them think I wanted it on the sandwich and extra on the side. I replied, ok, so if that's the case why then why don't I have any extra on the side. His response was that if I wanted to put in such a confusing order, I need to call and make sure that they understand what I want. My reply, ok, so you're saying it's my fault and then he hung up on me.
