Red's Savoy Pizza — Restaurant in Edina

Hi All! I was contacted by Jacob Peterson, the Owner of Red's Savoy Pizza in Edina, re: Our issues 2 weeks ago! Jacob wanted to express how disappointed he was with our experience on June 14th. He stated his apologies & insisted My Sister & I, come back & give them another try! He was very sincere & really wanted us to see how it would really work, with a Real Manager. So, I agreed! My Sister & I went in on Friday, June 30th & briefly went over some of the issues & attitudes we had encountered. We also told him, we have ordered from Red's in the past & never had any real problems! We also LOVE!❤ their Pizza & Garlic Cheese Bread! So, we ordered & he put his Staff to work on it! Jacob is a very involved, hands-on Manager/Owner! He was dressed like all of his Employees & was Extremely Friendly, Helpful & Real! He was very Pleasant & treated Everyone who came into Red's with a Smile & a Genuine Greeting! My Sister & I went & sat at one of the tables while waiting for our food! Jacob brought it out about 15-20 minutes later! He told us, he hadn't checked it! He wanted us to truly see the correct way His Kitchen Staff would handle it, without, Him, being there or doing it himself! As, he isn't there everyday! So, we too, waited until we got home, to see how Well the Kitchen Staff had done! As you can see from the pictures, the Pizzas & Garlic Cheese Bread were Picture Perfect! Plus! The food tasted as Great! as it looked! We have always enjoyed Red's Savoy Pizza! So, We are Happy we can continue to ❤Enjoy!❤their food from this location! We Hope you will Give this Red's a Try & See for Yourself!...

My wife and I are in town for the week. We wanted to try a different kind of place and searched several different places and settled on Red's. When we arrived we were greeted by a very nice young lady behind the counter who told us about Happy Hour. We got 2 drinks and a Large Pizza with any toppings for 20 bucks!! I had to throw in some cheesy bread as well. We didn't have to wait long for the cheesy bread to show up and man was it good! No, Fantastic! Maybe the best part was the homemade sauce to dip it in! It wasn't a normal sauce like you get everywhere else this had a really good flavor and just enough kick to it to be noticed and stand out without being overpowering!! Well Done!! Then the pizza came, wow did it look good!! Looks can be deceiving though! First thing I noticed was it was cut in little squares instead of traditional slices. I'm just a small town Kansas hick, what can I say. I've never seen that before. It sure didn't effect the taste!! It was a great pizza!! Lots of toppings and cheese!! I love this place. I frequent this area and was always curious about the pizza. I prefer my pizza crust to be thin and crispy. Though I do like some deep dish, when it’s not too thin and too thick it seems perfect and that’s how Savoy’s makes it. I’ve had pizza from this location a few times and so I feel confident saying I love their pizzas. Perfect amount of cheese - a lot - and toppings. They offer a frequent pizza lover rewards program. Sign up! Your first order is $5 off and then on your birthday you get a free 10” 1 topping pizza, besides other promotions. The staff is always great and steaming hot pizza. It’s worth waiting for. I normally will sit and have a couple pieces before I leave so I can enjoy a hot slice. They cut them in small cube pieces, but I’m sure you can ask them to do pizza triangles. I’ve never asked. I don’t care as long as it takes good and it doesn’t disappoint. Clean, open, and good seating at tables or up at the counter. Hope you’ll check them out. Happy eating.
