Iâve been to a lot of Starbucks in my life, and none of them compare to the experience I had at Southdale! Everyone is so friendly that I felt like I could stand there for hours just chatting. After I got my order (probably the quickest out of any Starbucks Iâve ever been to), I decided to sit at the little dining area at the end of the counter. I was only there for, like, fifteen minutes and I was FLABBERGASTED by how horrible so-called âadultsâ act when theyâre ordering coffee!! There was a guy yelling that they put cream in his coffee instead of putting it on the side. The barista apologized and offered to make him another. He wasnât having any of it. He just kept going on and on about how they âshouldâve knownâ and they âdonât know how much cream he wants.â The barista, again, apologized and offered to get him a new one. He took it and stormed away. During that guyâs little tantrum, the group behind him made their way down to the pick up counter. I guess they ordered a lot of food because it was taking the other barista a minute to gather it all. The next lady in line was absolutely not having it. She kept yelling, âHey! Can you come take my order? I only want one thing!â The barista told her theyâd be with her in just a moment, but she just kept repeating that she only wanted one thing. When she finally placed her order, she was ranting about how waiting was unacceptable and her entire order should be free. I say entire order because the âone thingâ she wanted happened to be eight highly customized drinks. She kept ranting while she waited on her massive order, so I left to finish my drink elsewhere. All of this happened in the ten minutes I was there, so I can only imagine how horrible people treat these baristas on a daily basis. They all deserve a...
Read moreI love been going to this one for 3 years. I love them. I always order a venti iced caramel macchiato with coconut milk. Never had an issue⊠until today⊠I did my normal order. The cashier typed in the wrong order⊠paid for it. Waited⊠the barista with blue and pink hair handed my order to me. I told barista I ordered a venti she said â the sticker says that you ordered a grande, so you definitely paid for a grandeâ now this is valid but no one even said âletâs try ring that out for you and Iâll remake itâ the fact that it was just shrugged off like it wasnât a huge issue is what makes me upset. Because it really isnât but it wasnât even offered. Iâve worked in the service industry as a barista before⊠I know asking a simple question like that can help make sure the customer is appreciated. As a fairly regular customer I didnât get that this time around. Because if I was at least offered I would be...
Read moreVery rude supervisor and rude service. This morning, My friend ordered a drink and the egg bites. Rather than quick in put my drink order. The cashier wrestle with the egg bite packaging. Then her supervisor ignores me to step in to get that package open. I asked if someone could please take my order. The supervisor very rudely says âwe working on something hereâ. I said one of your could have taken my order and started it. Nope. They continued to open the egg bites and not take my order. I would not place my order and I wonât go back to a place that prioritizes tasks over service. Side note: another customer tried to say hi to this supervisor and was rudely ignored by her. She needs to find a new job of this one...
