Starbucks — Restaurant in Edina

Dear Starbucks Management,

I would like to bring to your attention an incident I experienced at your Gallery Edina location during a business meeting on date 6/14/2025 1.30pm

I requested tap water and was informed that water could not be provided. Later, I observed the same employee serving water to a gentleman at another table. This situation led me to feel disrespected and witnessed what appeared to be unequal treatment based on race.

I believe in supporting businesses that demonstrate fairness and respect to all customers, regardless of their background. I encourage others to consider where they spend their money based on these fundamental values.

I hope you take this feedback into account to ensure that every customer receives equitable treatment.

A regular Starbucks with friendly staff and average coffee - just like most Starbucks. This is of course a matter of taste, but we found the coffee at this location less flavorful (flat whites), regardless of size. The scones are extra dry, and the breakfast selection average. If the weather permits you can sit outside, or you can use the generous seating area inside the café. This is a good option if you stay at the Westin and would like some coffee before 7am, as the restaurant opens only then (the Westin also serves coffee in the bar before 7am, to be fair). This location also features preorder so you can just drive by and pick up your coffee and snacks. Overall nice, not bad, but nothing special. Just like we expect...

O.M.G. This place SUCKED! I know you’re seeing all of these good reviews but it sucked! The baristas didn’t have a smile on their faces This one guy making the drinks was so slow I order a venti pink drink and my mom ordered a coffee, 2 drinks! It took this man 20 minutes of not longer to make these drinks. The vibe of it didn’t feel good either. The guy making the drinks didn’t speak loudly so it was hard to hear when your drink was ready and everyone looked like they HATED their job.
