I’m not sure why whenever we go here there’s always some sort of awkward interaction. Being the long weekend it was extremely busy and we got sat at a small table but it was so small that there wasn’t enough room for the plates. Our server brought over a side of biscuits and left it half on the table half hanging off. When another server was walking by she must’ve have bumped it a little and it fell, the plate broke, and the biscuits rolled away. It’s funny now but at that time it was so embarrassing because there were so many people there. A major concern we had was finding a hair in our avocado toast. At first I thought it might be mine, no big deal, but when I kept pulling at it, it came from the avocado so I didn’t think my hair could be submerged into an avocado slice that deep that quickly because the server had just brought the plate. Apart from being crowded and nothing having enough room for our food, the ordering experience was pretty awful. It’s like we were being forced to order these combos and if we didn’t then, there would be additional charges. For many things such as toppings that’s reasonable, but if I wanted a waffle combo it’s $16 but just a waffle alone is $18? I didn’t get a chance to really look at the menu so we just asked our server and I guess she wasn’t too sure of the menu either based on the experience we had. She just wanted the order practically as soon as we were seated. It’s busy, I understand, you want people in and out which I also understand, but you’re a diner, people need a minute to at least look at the menu. I’m sure not every single person comes with their order ready in mind without looking at the menu. Lastly, within 10-15 minutes of receiving our food, and the plate falling and breaking etc, we were served our bill. Mind you, we were still talking about ordering a drink or dessert, something sweet. But with the service we encountered and the bill given to us so quickly we figured it’s best to just go elsewhere to satiate our...
Read moreWhere is the 0 star option? I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at an IHOP location that left me utterly disgusted and appalled. Not only was the service subpar, but the behavior of the staff, particularly when it came to tipping, was downright despicable.
First and foremost, the service at this IHOP was abysmal. Our server seemed disinterested and inattentive from the moment we sat down. It took an eternity for our orders to be taken, and when the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best. We had to repeatedly request basic condiments and drink refills, which should be standard in any decent restaurant.
But the worst part came at the end of the meal, when I left what I thought was a fair tip for the mediocre service we received. To my shock, our server had the audacity to approach our table and actually ask for more! I couldn't believe my ears. Tipping is meant to be a gesture of appreciation for exceptional service, not an obligation or a chance for the staff to demand extra money.
This blatant display of greed and entitlement left a bitter taste in my mouth, overshadowing any positive aspects of the meal. It's deeply disappointing to see a restaurant like IHOP condoning such behavior from their staff members. I believe it reflects a lack of professionalism and a disregard for the values of...
Read moreThis is my favorite restaurant, although I love Cheese Cake Factory, this is my top choice. First off the owner Neil is a great person with a beautiful personality. He’s always smiles and Greet people kindly. Most of the waitresses have been there a long time. The service is really great, I can truly say that I never have a problem in the 30 years I’ve been going there. It’s very family friendly. I love 💕 💕 💕 the food it’s always hot and fresh. If you get the pancakes ask for hot butter and hot syrup it tastes great with them. The french toast with peaches is one of my favorites. They have some of the best chicken fingers and fries around. The T-bone steak is great with the red potatoes with Cheddar onions and peppers. The steak tips with mash and corn is great as well. There’s lots of great stuff on the menu there so if you haven’t been you should go try it really soon. I have to say, one of the things I love best about this restaurant is that whenever big holidays come around they have very good holiday specials. It really makes the holiday feels ever more special. It’s just a great feeling and the atmosphere is nice. Kids also eat free on Fridays from 3pm-10pm. If you’ve never been, try it and trust me you won’t regret...
