S&B's Burger Joint - East Edmond — Restaurant in Edmond

Handicap friendly restaurant, they offer plenty of tables with movable seating to allow a wheelchair to be scooted up to the table. Their is a wheelchair ramp from the parking lot directly in front of the doors. Their are only three handicap parking spots that we noticed which were completely filled with elderly drivers. So my only recommendation for improvement would be to add a few more handicap spaces. My wife who is in a wheelchair was a little disappointed that we had to park way out in the parking lot and had a little bit of a difficult time getting out of the vehicle and into her wheelchair in the normal parking spots. The interior decor at this location is pretty impressive, the decor and interior was bright and colorful. Other S&B’s tend to be on the dark side and can be somewhat of a downer, not this location though. We were seated near the windows on the north end of the restaurant and my wife remarked that it felt like we were enjoying outdoor seating but in a well air conditioned environment. Their food was delicious and fresh. We tried their Loaded Queso which if you like spicy food then you will love the loaded queso. The chips were seasoned evenly on every chip with a spicy red colored seasoning. Their queso that was creamy and delicious was loaded with meat and flavor. If you are unable to handle spicy food then do not even think about ordering the loaded queso. They offer a nice selection of beers from local breweries and elsewhere. Their beer menu is nicely divided into the different varieties of beer. I will say that the location was very busy and they did sell out of a few options but with their large selection it shouldn’t be hard to figure out a replacement option. Our server Jakob was excellent. He made sure our order was correct and when the kitchen brought out our food and it was missing an additional order of tots he made sure to immediately let the kitchen know before we could even say anything. The tots were good and the sweet potato fries were good but they fried the chicken tenders too long or didn't change the fry oil because they were too dark and the crust tasted bad. I only go to to S&B because my friend likes the food she orders. I've only been to this location and the one they shut down on Danforth and I was disappointed at both of them. I couldn't complain while I was here because it would make my friend upset. She doesn't ever complain at a restaurant or believe in wasting food. I'm not going again. I can find somewhere else with sweet potato fries next time my friend wants to go out to eat together or tell her to get it to go and I'll get food from somewhere else. I called the manager later after I finally got home and told him about the just the nacho chips fried wrong on the visit I had on Danforth location that closed. I told him there was more but I didn't feel like talking about it. He said he'd tell his boss about the other location. I'm not going to get my tenders replaced. I don't want to go back. When I say that this was a happy accident I mean it. We had just got into town on Thursday (May 16th) after a 9 hour drive and we really just wanted to sit down somewhere and eat before our first night in the hotel. Originally we didnt really want to eat a burger but we pulled in since it was near our hotel. Walking in, we were happily greeted and were instantly drawn to the 80s music playing. Apparently they play a game called SINGO on Thursdays where you listen to clips of music and cross them off your bingo card. IT WAS SUCH A BLAST. Our waitress Stratton was also amazing. She literally was so patient with us since there was so much going on and had some great recommendations. She even helped us get signed up for the rewards so we could get some free loaded fries which were AMAZING. The food was so good. Appetizer was the fire fries. My husband got the Smashing Onions, I got the Porker, and our 2 year old got the tenders and fries.
